Hale Pali Moana 'Home on the Ocean Bluff' is a spectacular vacation rental!

Pu'u Po'a #409 is located on the North shore in Princeville on a bluff overlooking Hideaway Beach, the Pacific ocean and adjacent to the 1 Hotel - Hanalei Bay.

With spectacular views of Bali Hai/Makana Mountain, the Pacific Ocean and amazing night skies, this is truly a peaceful retreat where you can hear the sound of waves in this little slice of tropical heaven!

Our top floor, ocean front penthouse home uniquely offers 15 ft. ceilings and privacy.

This spacious condo has A/C and sleeps 4-6 people comfortably, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
Bedroom 1 - one king-size bed + ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 2 - one queen-size bed + guest bathroom
One queen-size sleeper sofa.

Our home is decorated with custom-made furnishings from South East Asia, giving the space a feeling of light, bright, coastal serenity.

With all the comforts of home, the unit is well equipped and includes a washer/dryer.

Pu’u Po’a offers a swimming pool and a pickleball/tennis court.

From the lanai, you can see surfers, spinner dolphins and breaching whales (in season) off-shore.

Hike down to Hideaway Beach just below Pu'u Po'a or drive to any of the beaches along the coast.

We are 1 mile from the world-renowned 27-hole Makai Golf Club and the Makai pickleball/tennis center.
Princeville Shopping Center is 2 miles away.
Hanalei is 4.3 miles away.

The condo has WI-Fi and an upgraded entertainment center in the living room, including a device accessible surround-sound audio/video system that also includes a smart TV with Netflix and other APP streaming capability. There are flat screen TV's in both bedrooms and a 65" flat screen in living room.

There are a number of other things to do and see including visiting the quaint town of Hanalei for local shopping or dining; or visit any of the well-known beaches including Hanalei and Anini. In addition to visiting Queens Bath, the Kilauhea Lighthouse, wet/dry caves, you can surf, snorkel, kayak, paddle-board, hike, zip-line, book a boat trip or do a day tour - all in the North shore area.

Private helicopter tours of the island depart from the Princeville airport - see the magnificence of the Napali Coast where four thousand-foot peaks rise out of the Pacific Ocean. If you prefer to hike, the Kalalau Trail is for you. Whether you are looking for day, or longer, hikes to waterfalls and streams or to secluded, deserted beaches like Hanakapiai- this has it all!

When it says amazing… It really is. I have stayed at several different condos at Puu Poa over the years… And this one has to be my favorite! Beautiful views, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of extra amenities. With excellent contact from both the owner and the owners agent close by I definitely felt like I was in good hands.

The location of the condo is perfect with beautiful views of the ocean. We watched whales breaching from the balcony in the mornings. It was walking distance to the 1 Hotel which is beautiful and has great food. It’s a quick drive down to Hanalei-a cute town with restaurants and shops. I would always stay in this location while enjoying beautiful Kauai!Condo was spacious and clean and if we had questions the owners were quick to respond. Great experience! Mahalo!!

Great location! We were very happy with our stay. We made a few meals and found everything needed in the kitchen. We used the beach chairs and umbrella to enjoy several beaches. The views of the water were amazing and we also enjoyed the sunsets!

We had an amazing time in the end of August! Such a treat to wake up to the views of the ocean in the morning and stare at the stars and Milky Way before going to bed at night. Apartment was clean and well appointed with all the kitchen tools to make guests feel at home. Charlie and team were helpful and responsive. Kauai is now our favorite island, and we will certainly be back again!

As advertized, this condo is the BEST. Close to Princeville shopping, walk to Hanalei Bay Resort and One Hotel, near the Ahi Lele Fire Show/Luau and all of the pristine north shore beaches...Anini, hideaways, tunnels Lumahai and Hanalei Bay. Excellent...Mahalo!!

Right on the beach

This property is everything that it says it is, a top story top notch home away from home. The lanai is exactly as it is pictured and the view is amazing. Sunsets are stunning, whale watching is easy, kitchen and living room is perfectly situated to continue to enjoy the views as is the master bedroom and sitting room. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hanalei or Princeville

You are on your own

We had trouble using lockbox to enter property and called the management company for assistance. They told us they have not managed the property in 2.5 years but just thanks to their kindness, they talked me through opening the lockbox anyway. There were no instructions on how to use the tv/electronics so we ended up using our iPads. Tips on beaches etc were out of date. It’s a beautiful location, and it’s a nice comfortable condo. You can easily walk to a gorgeous beach in front of the 1Hotel resort, or take a difficult hike to another gorgeous beach closer to condo. We would definitely go back and pick a different condo in this complex, as there are many to choose from.

The best sunset view in Princeville

My wife and I stayed 5 nights to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The condo unit was very spacious, a lot of natural light and a fanastic ocean front view. You can also see the mountain peak that is the begining of the Napali Coast next to the sun going down into the ocean. There were three AC units in the unit that provided plenty of cooling. There were also ceiling fans in every room and a washer and dryer. We really liked Hidaways beach witch was directly down a bluff below us. A trail led down to the beach from the edge of the property.

Pu’u Poa Paradise

Beautifully updated Pu’u Poa unit with spectacular ocean views (including Bali Hai to the left) and three high performance AC units. Pickleball/tennis court on property and two minute walk next door to ultra luxurious 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. Charles is an extremely responsive owner and Ian is equally accessible and helpful as the property manager. Absolutely the place to stay when visiting Princeville area!!

What a view!

This was the perfect place for us! The condo was clean, the view of the coast was stunning, and the location was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hide-away beach is a short walk away. We had the best vacation!

Excellent Views

The views of Bali Hai and the ocean were magnificent. We saw whales and dolphins from the terrace. We chose to eat out but the kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable. One thing to note is you do have to climb stairs to get to the unit but it wasn’t a problem for our group. Overall it was a very nice condo and we hated to leave.

Beautiful & comfortable Princeville Stay

We had a great time at Charles's property. The day before arrival I got a call from the property manager and he answered any questions we had immediately throughout the entire stay. Great place to stay with a group because we got to use the kitchen, outdoor balcony with an incredible view, and main living space thoroughly, and felt so comfortable and at home. Great location and super close to Hanalei and Anini beach, where we visited multiple times. Highly recommend for groups and families.

We have stayed at this condo location many times over the past twenty years and this particular unit is certainly one of our favorites! It is beautifully and comfortably decorated, light and bright, and (perhaps most importantly in July), the AC units are top notch! We HIGHLY recommend this unit for your next stay on the North Short of Kauai!!

Breathtaking!

My husband, our two daughters and I spent 2 weeks in this amazing condo. There is no better way than to wake up to the crashing waves and surfers every morning. We have stayed at other units on this property, but this was the first that had the enclosed sunroom, instead of the second lanai. It ended up being my favorite space to read and watch the whales and rolling waves. We cooked most meals and the condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. Having indoor and outdoor seating for meals allowed us to stay dry and watch the surfers in the morning then watch the sunsets outside at dinner. In the closets, there was a lovely small library of books and games, extra linens… The condo had everything to make you feel at home and be very comfortable. It was clean and although it has AC, we loved that there were ceiling fans in every room. The property itself is well maintained. The pool and tennis court is a short walk away and there was always plenty of parking. If you are not familiar with the area, this is a very safe and beautiful community with golf courses, and many sidewalks. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive takes you to shops and a grocery store. Everything about our stay was perfect! We look forward to coming back.
