Brand New Lakefront Cabin

New Construction 2br, 2 baths with a loft! Typically renting Weekly Sunday - Sunday Mid June to Mid August. 2 night minimum all other months. Occasionally cancellations will allow for shorter stays, please inquire prior to booking. Rates vary throughout the season, select dates for accurate pricing.

Sorry no pets allowed.

Cabin 1 overlooks the swim area, shared dock is about 75' away. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds to sleep up to 4, the loft has a twin bed and a futon for additional sleeping arrangemnts. There is enough parking space in front for two cars or one truck with trailer.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK OR DRIVE ON THE GRASS.

Sunrise Resort is a family owned Northwoods resort in popular Vilas County, offering 8 cozy lakefront to accommodate your large group, be together and have your own space! All cabins feature spectacular sunrises, screen porches and that “Northwoods” feeling. Spread across 1000′ of crystal clear Presque Isle Lake frontage, considered to be a trophy musky and smallmouth bass fishery, plus access to a variety of waters in a quiet 4 lake chain with over 1500 acres of water to explore. Nearly 12 acres of park like grounds create a relaxing atmosphere with 2 sun decks, sandy swim area, plus access to hiking/biking/snowmobile trails and more, there is something for everyone!

Cozy and quaint!

We had a wonderful time, it was -30 outside but we stayed cozy and warm in the Sunfish Cabin. The views of the sunrise were amazing. The rec room was well equipped to have lots of fun. Great place to enjoy the solitude of the north woods.

Excellent northwoods experience

This was a great size cabin for myself and two friends as well as our bicycles and gear. Great location for easy access to the WinMan trails and the restaurants in Manitowish waters. Cabin was right on the lake and neatly tucked in the woods just how you’d expect a perfect up north Wisconsin cabin stay should be.

Cozy cabin in a gorgeous location

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Check-in process was a bit rocky as the cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival (after the designated check-in time) but on site staff had everything cleaned up within a couple of hours. The accommodations were good for two adults, two young children (sharing a room) and a small dog. The kitchen is small but equipped with the basics. The back porch was lovely and we ate all of our meals out there. But the draw of this property is not inside the cabin, it is the easy access to a small beach and a gorgeous lake. It is the kayaks and paddleboards available to take out on the water without additional charge. It is the fishing boat available (at a fee) to cruise around the lake. It is the fishing guidance available (at a fee) that helped our kids catch their first fish ever. It was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend a few days and unplug. The only downside is the lack of running trails available from the cabin but they were a fairly short drive away. Thanks to Scott's team for welcoming us.

Sunrise Cottage #1.

Great place for the serious cyclist, kayaker or fishing type. Six miles north of Heart of Vilas trail on County P, which does not have much shoulder but is lightly traveled. Cottages are classic with a great lake view. Definitely would recommend and would return here.

Much needed

This is my 6th year coming to this area in august for vacation. The place j usually had rented was recently sold. A friend of mine had stayed here at sunrise and told me I should try them. I literally have no doubt in my mind where I'll be staying from now on. This cabin and resort was exactly perfect for me. Grill, water, kayaking and hiking areas close and the musky jamboree. It's amazing. I loved it.

Summer Fun

Better than expected! Cabin was perfect size for us. Nice screened porch with a beautiful lake view. A dock for my boat. Scott is also a fishing guide! Have him take you out on the lake. A short drive into Boulder Junction or Manitowish or plenty of other locations. This is up north! Thanks for a great stay!

1st cabin stay

The overall experience was great. there were a few things we were not aware of, and either we missed it on the web site or it just was clear to me. I thought there was a fire pit for at each cabin. they have 2 that were to be shared by 6 cabins. Maybe because this was my first vrbo trip I wasn't sure where to check in or let them even know we were here. They leave you alone to fend for yourself and in a way that's great. Overall it was a fantastic stay Robin Wolf Shawano , WI.

The property was beautiful. Well groomed, clean and the guest “lodge” was comfy with big couches, big screen tv and a fireplace. Perfect. Our cabin was also clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
