  • White Daisy is a small villa on two floors with a wide private garden with wonderful sea View!



    Up to 5 guests can sleep here. The Villa is about 80 square meters and features air conditioning rooms and winter heating.



    It is located in a strategic part of Praiano, close to the well-stocked grocery Tutto Per Tutti to some restaurants and pizzeria and at 10 minutes’ walk to the village centre and the beach of La Praia: both can be easily reached also by a convenient and frequent local bus looping Praiano and Positano.



    The villa has an useful private parking area where you can drop your vehicle; from there you reach the house with a short ramp of 25 stairs, through the private garden. We kindly ask our guests to notify if you are renting a car, before arrival.



    The villa has two access that means also two couples or small families can share the villa; a couple can enter from the ground floor and the other from the top floor.



    The top floor features a large double bedroom with a king size bed, a divan bed for one extra person. The rooms has a flat-screen television and wardrobe and individual private terrace. The bedroom is air conditioned / heated and has an en-suite full bathroom with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.



    The ground floor can be either reached by an internal staircase of circa 20 steps or from the outside. It features a garden that shades the outdoor space equipped with a table, chairs and two deck chairs and a barbecue. The garden is 200 square meters. The ground floor has a well-appointed kitchen with a five-burner gas stove, an electric oven, microwave a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker. You will find a wooden table and chairs for four guests. You access the bedroom located on this floor from the corridor; it features a double king size bed and a TV and air conditioning/heating unit. Also this bedroom has its individual bathroom featuring a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower an hairdryer and washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.



    This property is in a quiet area and ideal for guests with walking problems or not willing to navigate too many stairs.

The property was really good for us, the outside space was set up well and the views from it were lovely.Margherita was lovely, as was her daughter Stella who was the Hotel Margherita. The reception desk in was very friendly and accommodating, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and being able to use the hotel minibus an extra bonus . We wouldn’t hesitate to book it again should we return to the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful Villa and town!

This is a gem and I highly recommend it if you would like to stay on the Amalfi coast. The Villa was in a great location with amazing views and Margherita was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed.The town of Praiano is situated between Positano and Amalfi with access by bus near by.

Amazing!!

Beautiful location and views! Very friendly owner, who is tentative and always available for anything that is needed. Great amenities and lemon orchard in the patio area to enjoy. Definitely will try to stay here when in Praiano again!

Great property with beautiful view. Large space in a great location in Praiano, near bus stop and grocery store. Very comfortable and had very good amenities. We rented a car on our last night and having the included parking space at the property was a plus.

Absolute charming place and owner

Villa is fantastic and Margarita is a gem!!You have everything you need and the views are just beautiful!! Fresh Lemons are abundant. We walked to the beach from the villa and the bus stops right out front to Positano. Down the hill and around corner is a grocery store. Il Pino was an amazing restaurant with in walking distance. You are welcome to use the hotel pool and restaurant and the staff there is very helpful and kind.

Quirky with a fabulous view!

The location/view is spectacular and having the hotel above for breakfast and the pool, worked out great. The accommodations are a little dated, but the situation of the VRBO is absolutely wonderful. We also used the private parking place which was a huge plus since in this area. Having two separate floors worked out well for us, too. Thank you!

What a find! Located just below Margarita hotel. 2 stories each with a patio. Lemon trees and fantastic views. Had a great kitchen. Water pressure was really good. Would absolutely stay again. Highest recommendation!

Fabulous place, wonderful views

We LOVED this place and it was made even more special by the location, overlooking the sea and the owner's orange grove. Margherita, the host, is in her mid-80s and is the founder of the linked Hotel Margherita. She is a fabulous lady and a lesson to everyone about how to live well and enjoy life in our older years. We just loved everything about the place, and being off the beaten track, it was much quieter than Positano or Amalfi, but the bus connections to Positano and Amalfi are great, as is access to Walk of the Gods (up a LOT of steps) and also local shops (a handful) and restaurants (only a few) are just brilliant. Highly recommended place to stay.

The Best Place To Stay!

My family and I stayed here for about a week and we can happily say it was fantastic! The property is beautiful inside and out, especially the outside gardens which the owner, Margherita, takes very good care of. She is the most amazing host we have ever met and treats everyone like they are her family. She always makes sure we have everything we need and is always offering all the food we can eat from her gardens. The house feels very nice and private and has a beautiful view overlooking the water. It is also a very short drive from Positano, which has many shops, restaurants, and nice beaches. We also highly recommend trying out the restaurant across the street, in Hotel Margherita.

Best Host and Beautiful Property

First I cannot say enough about the host, Margherita....she was kind, efficient and so on top of everything. My mom had an unfortunate medical emergency and she stayed with us until the paramedics left. Her property is gorgeous and in pristine condition. The view is spectacular. It is also right across from Hotel Margherita where we dined with a 20% discount. The bus stop for the bus to Positano is right outside the hotel. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to the Amalfi Coast.

A lovely place and amazing welcome and service

The Villa was perfect for us. Beautiful views from the villa. Nice privacy with one room downstairs with full bath, and one room upstairs with full bath. The gardens outside and the incredible view was a daily retreat. The Villa is owned by Margherita of Hotel Margherita, who was warm and gracious, and always made sure we were comfortable, and had what we needed. We chose to eat breakfast at the hotel for a reasonable cost and we’re greeted by the lovely Bianca and crew with delicious cappuccino and satisfying breakfast. Suela provided us with helpful bookings for activities and gave us knowledgeable guidance when asked. An all around amazing staff and support system for new visitors to Amalfi Coast. Praiano is a lovely spot for those who prefer to be away from the bustling crowds.

A Hidden Gem

You walk down some stairs off the street to your accommodation. One bedroom upstairs, one bedroom that sleeps 3 and a kitchen downstairs. Amazing views of the water and the hills of Praiano. Chairs and table to sit outside. Margherita (the owner) also owns her namesake Hotel Margherita across the street. Has a great rooftop restaurant and very helpful front desk staff. You can grab a morning cappuccino and breakfast there. Bus stop right outside the villa that can take you to Positano or Praiano beach. Small grocery and restaurant short walk down the hill. We fell in love with Margherita ❤️. Wonderful woman. So helpful and friendly to us. I would definitely like to return to the White Daisy.

Amazing Property You Must Reserve For Your Next Stay!

My wife and I were looking for nice, quiet place to end our honeymoon vacation to Italy. After much research, we were fortunate to find the White Daisy Villa (Villa Margherita) in Praiano. It's located in a perfect location, close to everything-the local pharmacy, barber, grocery store, and many amazing restaurants in Praiano. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Margherita, the Villa owner and owner of her namesake Hotel Margherita across the street from the Villa. Margherita personally took us through the Villa and showed us everything we possibly would need to know about the use of the Villa during our stay. The description and pictures of the Villa and the reviews associated with the Villa were perfect and accurate. The property was clean, and offered everything we needed. She personally picked tomatoes from her garden and offered us to have them if we wanted. The Villa had amazing views from two private terraces, what more could we ask for? Our stay in Praiano and the White Daisy was everything we had hoped it would be. A review of this property and experience cannot go without mentioning Margherita. After reading the reviews, it was one of the reasons why we chose to stay at the Villa! We found her to be a warm, friendly, and hospitable person. She made us feel like we were part of her family. We certainly appreciated Margherita. She added to our experience in Praiano and our stay at the Villa. We highly recommend staying at the White Daisy!

Perfection in Praiano!

I cannot say enough about how perfect this lovely little villa is and the hospitality Margherita provided during our stay. First off, the location could not be better. Away from the madness and packed streets of Positano, Praiano is the perfect home base. The city offers plenty of dining and grocery options with much more of a local feel with few crowds. This villa is located right next to a local bus stop, just 10 stairs or so down from street level and directly across from Hotel Margherita, owned by the same family, where you can use the pool! There is a somewhat steep hill to go down to the main town square area, about a 10 minute walk, but we did not find it an issue (more so a little workout or leisurely stroll after dinner!). The views made the walk worth it! When we arrived later than anticipated, Margherita met us at the hotel and walked us across the street to give us a tour of the property and thorough instructions. She also told us about the fruits and vegetables in the gardens next to the terraces, and urged us to use them! Margherita was sure to check in with us a few times during our stay and even helped us find a ferry directly to Capri instead of having to get to Positano to do so. My mom and I both had our own level of the villa and our own bathroom, which made getting ready a breeze. Each morning, we made coffee and enjoyed it out on the bottom floor patio (the larger one). One afternoon, we simply lounged about outside because it was so cozy and relaxing to be at the White Daisy! We did catch the sunrise one morning as well. The kitchen is small but has all you need to cook a meal! As you can see, I can't say enough about how great this place was, and I am so thankful for the recommendation from friends who also stayed here a few years ago. Book it today and enjoy this PERFECT location in the cozy town of Praiano!

Great location, wonderful host

White Daisy is the best location in Praiano. The bus stop is right outside your door. The grocery is down the street. The view is spectacular. Perhaps the best part of the stay is wonderful Margherita who owns the property. She has a wonderful garden and picks tomatoes, basil, and lemons for you to use. We took her cooking class at Hotel Margherita (across the street) and it was wonderful. You also have access to the pool at the hotel which was nice. This is our second time to Praiano and this location can’t be beat.

Beautiful Sea Views from private Verandas

Our stay was wonderful. Margerita was a charming host and let us pick fresh vegetables from her garden on the property. We had a delicious fresh pasta dinner. The Hotel Margerita is just steps away with an amazing restaurant, lobby and pool. The showers could be updated but overall the experience was wonderful.

What a special place the “White Daisy” is…

This is an unexpected treasure! The apartment is 2 levels with 2 nice size bedrooms and 2 baths, well-equipped and stocked kitchen. It has beautiful grounds with and upper and lower outdoor seating areas. There are flowers, herbs, tomatoes, lemon trees, fig trees. The owner, Margherita, “Mama,” is a remarkable, generous and attentive host. She and her husband built this apartment as their residence in the 1960s. They later built the co-located attractive Hotel Margherita and fabulous restaurant, “Ristorante Mama.” The residences are built on the side of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, for us, it rained hard on one of the 2 full days of our visit. But that’s because we visited in early November which is in the off-season. Many hotels, restaurants, and shops closed 1 November. The hotel and restaurant will close 1 December, Anyway, the apartment itself was replete with the classic Italian charm one would expect from a 50+yr old property. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water from a tankless water heater. Margherita was such a delightful host, so hospitable, so generous, we would’ve stayed longer had we not made reservations in Alberobello. This is a great place to stay, centrally located between Positano and Amalfi/Ravello. Easy bus transportation to both locations. 10 Euros lets you ride any bus anywhere, for 24 hrs. They are exciting rides on the twisting roads along the Amalfi Coast. If you choose to stay, you won’t be disappointed.

The property was gorgeous. We especially enjoyed eating beside the lemon trees. Margarita was a wonderful host. She even picked fresh lemons and mint for us to use when we were there. Great location. The bus stop is right near the VRBO and the home is a walk away from a grocery store. Praiano is a very calm and peaceful place. There was a bus that took you to and from Positano if you wanted to spend the day there. If not €40 taxi that will take you there. Overall, wonderful stay! The White Daisy was a slice of heaven!

Just perfect!

Our stay at White Daisy could not have been any better. Beautiful accommodations and the outside patios are just amazing! Margherita gave us a full briefing on arrival. She is a wonderful host and she was there for everything we needed. We also had use of the hotel staff and facilities. Dinner there was wonderful. Bus stop is right outside the door! So convenient to restaurants and the market. We also were able to begin our walk of Sentiero Degli Dei right outside our doorstep. What a great location.

A true gem with an incredible view!

This was our first time in the Amalfi Coast. We weren’t sure where to stay but Praiano is nicely situated away from the busyness of Positano and Amalfi. It’s also easy to access the major centres from. The bus stop is right out the door. We loved the place! There was plenty of room and it was very clean. The view of the sea was incredible. We had fresh lemons, tomatoes, basil and figs available from the garden everyday. What a treat that was! Margherita, the owner, is a sweetheart. She was so helpful and catered to our needs whenever we asked. She is also the owner of the Hotel Margherita across the road so the staff there booked excursions for us and were also super helpful if we had questions about getting around the coast. The house had various areas for sitting and relaxing on different levels. We were two couples and because the bedrooms were on two levels we had lots of privacy. I would highly recommend you stay at this place!

Maison agréable mais sans plus

Maison agréable, bien située et calme. Un peu trop de végétation gène la vue. Place de parking réservée et précieuse ! Bon accueil.. Bonne literie. Maison propre et soignée. En cas de mauvais temps..attention ! pas d'endroit agréable pour se réunir ou manger (Cuisine/séjour très petite et sans fenêtre)

Beautiful villa

Margherita is a super nice host and she gives very detailed instruction when we checked in. The villa is amazing with two beautiful terraces. We enjoyed the veggie and lemon from the garden. Also the Margherita's hotel is across the street and we booked the tour and bus tickets with them. Super easy
