Arquitectura de estilo sarraceno. Suelos: terracota cortada a mano, cerámica napolitana antigua. Muebles de época con todas las comodidades. Tres terrazas amuebladas con mesas (incluida una mesa para 10 personas) y plantas, flores, pérgolas, jarrones y jarras antiguas. Un balcón. Todo con vistas de 180 grados al mar. Planta superior: dormitorio doble (cama de 1,6x2,0 m) con balcón, aire acondicionado y baño propio; habitación twin (0.9x2.0mt) con terraza (mesa con 4 sillas y tumbona), aire acondicionado y baño propio, posibilidad de unir las dos camas individuales para obtener una tercera cama doble. Planta intermedia: dormitorio doble (cama de 1,6x2,0 m), aire acondicionado y baño propio; sala; las habitaciones acceden a una amplia terraza con mesa con 5 sillas, 2 tumbonas, 2 tumbonas. Posibilidad de añadir una 8ª cama (extrabed 0,8x1,9 m) por una tarifa (150 euros / semana) que se colocará en la habitación con dos camas en el piso superior. Planta baja: sala, comedor, habitación individual (cama de 0.9x2m), baño, cocina. Todas las habitaciones de la planta baja dan a una gran terraza con mesa para 8-10 personas, 2 tumbonas). This villa was the perfect location for our group of 3 couples in Positano for 5 nights. The path to the beach was only 6 minute via the pedestrian walkway steps. Multiple shops and restaurants were 3 minutes away on the street above. Two bakeries and gelato were close by. The pictures and descriptions online were accurate but did not do justice to the comfort of this home. The decor was vintage Positano with 3 terraces one on each of 3 levels. Views were breathtaking. The kitchen was clean and well supplied except for not having a microwave. Our host, Roberto, was the epitome of a premier host. Communication was excellent. His assistants, Maria Dolores and Rosella were not only readily accessible by text for questions but assisted with arranging transportation and reservations. Their input and services were so helpful to first time visitors to the Amalfi Coast.

Apartment was great. Balconies on every floor with fantastic views. The owner and his team were helpful with all our questions and needs. The beds were very comfortable and rooms had ac and fans, which were much appreciated on several days. Apartment is not too many steps down from the main road through town. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, spices etc. A very pleasant place to stay!

Breathtaking Retreat in Positano

My family of 6 stayed here for a week. It was breathtakingly beautiful; the villa & the town! The villa had plenty of room for all of us with an extra bedroom we didn’t use. The balconies are wonderful and lent themselves to many glasses of wine, card games and meals outside. The kitchen had what we needed for our visit. We cooked many nights. Warning that Positano has many, many steps!! You really need to be fit to navigate the town & the steps. I highly recommend this villa for families and small groups. Lots of air conditioning on all 3 levels too!

Unbelievable views!

Our family of seven enjoyed our week at the villa. The entire villa was just beautiful and we never got sick of the sea views. The property is very comfortable for seven adults. We had plenty of space to have group time as well as privacy.The property caretakers Marco and Maria did so much to make our stay enjoyable and fun. We enjoyed getting to know them. Take Marco up on his offer to book some dinner reservations as we always received great service and food going with his choices. Maria also cooked an amazing meal for us at the villa one night.Best vacation ever!

Outstanding Views and Location

Roberto’s place in Positano is perfectly located, near the beach, ferry port, 100’ from the waterfront - you can literally hear the water lapping against the boats anchored in the bay, and it is steps away from multiple outstanding restaurants, retail shops, and markets. The view from every rooms balcony is absolutely spectacular. Roberto made pre-check in very easy and timely. Everything just works.Yes, it is up some steps, about 200 but EVERYTHING is, the climb is simply unavoidable in this city and this region of Italy in general. There is a route that is significantly easier on your heartbeat using the road, however it takes 15min vs 8 mins using the steps. Overall, in comparison to other Positano STR locations in this price range, it is arguably the best choice as it is closer to everything and literally a stone’s throw from the shoreline. The home is historic and unique, but roomy enough for a family of 6 to fit comfortably, we even cooked a meal one night and enjoyed eating in, the kitchen has everything you’d ever need to prepare a large meal.Maria, the house manager meets you at checkin to explain everything about the home and make sure you are well informed. She is incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and welcoming.Book with confidence, this place is a gem.

Rooms With a View

Villa Ibiscus is a fantastic property. It is exactly as pictured in the listing. There are fabulous views of the harbor and sea from various rooms and all terraces. There are many stairs to navigate; but the members of our 70+ group managed them well. (With a bit of huffing and puffing.) Maria and Marco, the property managers were most accommodating. They prepared dinner for us on the first night, as it was raining; and we were jet lagged. If you want genuine local cuisine, they are the ones to book. Roberto, the owner of the villa, visited us one morning, with pastries from Naples in hand. We enjoyed meeting him, and hearing about the history of his family's home. Marco was our guide for a behind the scenes tour in Capri, helping us avoid the tourist crowds. The day was complete with lunch at the only organic farm on the island. One day was spent in Pompeii, with the best ever guide arranged by Marco. He, also, arranged for Teo to drive us there and then onto lunch in Sorrento. Again, knowing where to go and who to take you there, Marco arranged for a boat day trip along the beautiful coastline from Positano to Amalfi. Ciro was the Captain of our boat and a great guide. A grand time was had by all during our stay in Positano, in such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you, Roberto, Maria, and Marco.

Amazing property and hosts!

Our experience in this Villa was beyond what we could have imagined. We are a group of 7 and included our three adult children and partners. Positano was a fantastic home base. The dock is small so ferries may be cancelled but you can ferry everywhere when available. We have stayed in Positano twice and this was the first time we had multiple ferries cancelled due to an unusual amount of rain. Marco, one of our hosts, was so personal and responsive. He was able to organize multiple drivers for us at a moments notice. The apartment is beautifully located close to everything but away from the tourists. The multiple levels give you a lot of options to spread out. Marco and Maria Dolores made dinner for our group chat be evening and it was fantastic! We all felt like we made two new lifelong friends. If you get an opportunity to stay here you will not be disappointed ❤️🇮🇹

Fabulous!

The villa has 4 bedrooms each with a separate bathroom and balcony. The views from The balconies were worth it! The Villa hosts Maria and Marco were fantastic and gave us many recommendations for restaurants and excursions. They also helped coordinate private transfers to and from The Naples airport as well as additional Excursions. We had the most amazing time! The villa is 264 steps to the main beach in Positano. Be aware of the steps. Maria arranged for a luggage porter that cost $10 a bag! Well Worth it. You do have to pay for electricity in the villa for your stay. We stayed in August when it was super hot! We used AC at night. Our electricity bill for 9 days was $86z Overall, we would go back and stay in this villa in a second. Gorgeous!

Perfect stay at villa Ibiscus! Great tour with local guide Marco! Close to beach and town. Perfecto!

Villa Ibiscus was terrific. Super close to 2 public beaches in town. And very close to shops and restaurants. Lovely view from all bedrooms and porches over the water . Enjoyed watching the yaughts and boats come into harbor from our deck. Big rooms , lovely kitchen, great common areas in the house. Maria set us up with Marco - as local guide and a smart man who took us for a day trip to explore Amalfi coasts best shops , Resturant’s and ceramic shops. Great communication with house manager and house owner. Lots of steps to get anywhere in Positano . To be expected. But all around a perfect vacation.

Beautiful view and perfect location

Roberto’s home is just wonderful! It’s just like the photos and perfectly located.the rooms and beds were comfortable and house was very clean and kitchen has everything you need. It sounds like a lot of steps in description but not really. It is positano after all ( maybe do some stair workouts before you go!)and you’re very close to a lot of restaurants and bakeries ,ice cream, pharmacy etc. we did a wonderful cooking class in Montepurtoso and beach clubs and Roberto’s recommendation of da Adalfo beach club was the best of all . So authentic it was actually my favorite memory of our trip ! Roberto was an amazing host … he was responsive and helped with dinner reservations when we couldn’t get ahold of the restaurant he recommended. He helped us with questions about buses and transportation. We were There during the full moon and it was absolutely breathtaking! Maria Dolores was helpful and always responsive if we had a question. Highly recommend and would love to return one day soon. Thank you Roberto! Wonderful memories for myself and my daughter!

Perfect Positano Villa!

This Villa is nothing short of magnificent! We arrived by ferry and were met by the luggage porters as well as Marco, who greeted us and showed us the way to our Villa. Along the way he pointed out “must see” spots as well as recommendations of where to shop and eat. Maria was waiting at the Villa ready to explain all that we needed to know to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. She even worked hard to make sure our Villa was ready for an early check in, since we arrived earlier than expected by ferry. Marco also spent at least 30 minutes sharing about local traditions, including the organic lemon he brought us from his garden. Marco also made us exclusive reservations at local places so we could enjoy wonderful meals without a wait. On the last night before checking out, he came to the villa to make sure we were ready for check-out and ended up making us a reservation at the most wonderful restaurant, Luna, located high up in Positano with the most spectacular sunset views. The Villa itself is amazing! The pictures do not even compare to what you see once you walk inside. Each of the 3 floors of the Villa has a large terrace that overlooks the sea where boats come and go throughout the day and night. Watching the boat activity was one of our favorite activities. Although there are a lot of stairs, the location is worth it! I can't recommend this place highly enough! Thank you all for the most amazing vacation!

Just returned home from Italy vacation and our say here was very nice. The property was perfect for our family, each member having the own space with that incredible view. The host was very helpful for all our special request and even arranged porters to handle our luggage. In addition, his assistance Marco and Maria were very helpful as well. On our last night, we arranged for them to prepare a home cooked meal for us, and it was amazing. The only issue was our request for a special celebration with this meal, and it was not handled. Upon selecting the menu, it was suggested that if we wanted anything extra to make the meal special to let them know. We request and confirmed extras for a couple birthday celebrations and even confirmed our wishes after arrival. to our disappointment, it never happened and was not arranged. Nothing was even mentioned. we would recommend this property for anyone visiting Positano.

Authentic Italian Casa

Although the VRBO pictures show this place with beautiful setting, it’s not until you first open the door do you realize how incredibly beautiful the setting is over looking the Mediterranean Sea. The location is perfect with restaurants above and below the location. Roberto’s place is just what you would imagine an Italian home to be. Maria was also very helpful setting up our day trip to Pompei. This was our first time to Italy and this place made our family experience perfect. Be sure to book early.

Positano gem

Stayed for a week with a total of 5 ladies for a girls trip. There was more than enough room for all. The views are breathtaking. The stairs to and from the villa are a challenge but the sane was true to the entire vertical city. Come prepared. The villa was very clean and kitchen modern and stocked with convenient touches. The best part of the villa are the property managers Maria and Marco. They helped arrange transportation from Naples airport, porters to carry the luggage up and down the stairs and cooked us dinner after a day tour to Pompeii. Marco also did a private tour for us in Capri and Sorrento which were just what we wanted! I highly suggest you contact him before your stay to arrange something! cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was. Thank you Roberto for sharing your lovely villa with us! Ciao!

Stunning Villa

We loved this villa so much - each bedroom has its own floor, patio, and bath. It's very private and all the views are breathtaking. The antique furnishings are gorgeous. The location is perfect - not far above the ferry and main beach. We hired Marco to give us a tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip. He had wonderful recommendations as well and helped us coordinate our transportation.

Wonderful Location

Perfect location. The villa worked very well for 2 couples! Loved all the terraces! Definitely not a place for anyone much over 70 unless you are physically fit (but that’s pretty much true of Positano in general). Maria did a great job promptly answering our questions and arranging our departure. We had a fantastic time.

We had a magical experience at this villa. The location was perfect, views extraordinary. Amenities were as described. Lots of privacy for our group and beautiful terraces with magical views.

Great Location

Loved the location and the amazing views. There was a lack of communication with Maria the manager and also Marco was supposed to come by and give us some ideas of what to do in the area but he never showed up. I just wish the communication was better.

Villa Lauro

The Villa was beautiful. Very spacious with 3 floors. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The terraces were breathtaking, worth the stay alone. Roberto and Maria were very helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Incredible home I can not recommend enough

Roberto's home was nothing short of a dream during our stay in Positano. Of all our visits, this was the best place we stayed and we can't wait to return again! Beside the villa's historic charm, the location is hard to beat. I recommend this stay to anyone traveling either as a couple or with a bigger group.
