Villa Laura has a beautiful private gadren with barbecue, nice living room with comfortable sofa bed and Positano's sea view, 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one has a jacuzzi and one has a shower), free wi fi, air conditioning, tv, kitchen with microwave, electric owen, dishwasher, hob with hood, washing machine, space to hang out the laundry. Nearest bus stop 5 minutes, free parking in the public area, you have all you need!

Peaceful, mountainside oasis with beautiful views!!

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laura’s villa a peaceful, mountainside oasis. The villa offers several outdoor spaces with stunning views and thoughtful amenities. The daily breakfast offered was fantastic and the quaint town nearby provides a collection of lovely restaurants just a short stroll from the villa. The family owned nearby La Taggiore was our best and most memorable meal during our stay offering a wide assortment of sumptuous Italian dishes, generous portions and lively atmosphere. It was fantastico! This host and her family were friendly and very welcoming. Laura’s villa was the perfect end to our Italian vacation. Grazie Mille!

STAY HERE!

Wow! There are so many incredible things to say about our stay. Have you heard of the viral cooking class at La Tagliata? Well the hosts own that restaurant!!! They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there and even though we couldn’t get into the cooking class (booked through October!!!) they brought some of that fun to our breakfasts and meals at their restaurant. The view from the property is unreal and the breakfast was sooo good. The place is located about 15 min from the main town so you’ll need to get a cab (50 euros one way) or catch the bus to get down. There’s a bus stop right by the property though so that was helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Positano!!!

Absolutely amazing sea views! Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring local cuisine that highlighted the best of the region. Fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared, these meals were the perfect start to our days. One of the standout experiences was dining at the family restaurant, La Tagliata. This dining experience deserves ten stars, with authentic farm-to-table dishes that were simply divine. The flavors, freshness, and quality of the food were exceptional, reflecting the dedication and passion of the family. The Villa itself is perfectly situated, just a short distance from the steps leading down to Positano. This convenient location allowed us to explore the stunning coastal town with ease, while still enjoying the tranquility and charm of Montepertuso. We cannot recommend this Villa highly enough. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, incredible food, or a base to explore the beauty of Positano, this place offers it all. Renato and Antonietta have created an incredibly amazing experience that we will cherish forever. If you're planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast, this Villa is an absolute must-stay!

The villa had an incredible view of the water, It was picturesque. The villa had new accommodations , it was clean and very inviting. Its location had you immersed in local culture and the lemon trees were amazing .the hosts were the best I’ve ever had. The mornings were serene and provided the right environment to start your day . Very close to the local bus that ran from Positano to Nochelle, less than a five minute walk to the bus stop. Convenient local grocery store with everything .

Wonderful experience

We will always remember our time in Montepertuso at Villa Laura. Renato and Antonietta are top class hosts. Amazing breakfast every morning. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Our young kids loved the outdoor Jacuzzi and the view was breathtaking. The village had 3 restaurants in walking distance, a deli and grocery and easy access to transportation to Positano to get on a ferry, go shopping or hit the beach. The family restaurant, La Tagliata, is a must visit. Overall, staying at Villa Laura was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Napoli and Amalfi coast.

Beautiful oasis in Positano

Honestly one of our favourite stays ever. The hosts are extremely generous and helpful. The breakfast each morning (provided for free) is better than you will get at a restaurant. Be sure to visit their family restaurant which is a short walk from the accommodation - the most delicious food and great value for money with one of the best views in Positano. Such a comfortable stay - it was so hard to leave. Ps they also have a cute cat and dog.

Family get away

This is a great location above the town of Positano located on the hillside. The Villa Laura has great views and is located with in walking distance of a general store and 3 great restaurants. It is also location just off the Path of the gods hiking trail. The host provided a 5 star breakfast each day with farm to table fruits, vegetables, meats and local cheeses. They also own a restaurant 5 minutes away that is rated #1 in Positano. It has epic views and amazing service and food. I highly recommend this location. The host were great by helping with drivers and activity recommendations.

Amazing Villa Laura

One of the highlights of stay at Villa Laura was undoubtedly the mouthwatering breakfasts prepared by Renato, a true culinary artist. Each morning, we woke up to a delightful spread of freshly baked pastries, aromatic coffee, and a variety of local fruits. Renato's attention to detail and passion for his craft was evident in every bite, and we found ourselves eagerly looking forward to breakfast each day. But it wasn't just the amazing breakfasts that made our stay at Villa Laura exceptional. Antonietta's gracious and attentive nature truly made me feel like a part of their family. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, her warmth and dedication were unwavering. Speaking of transportation, I have to mention "Papi," the incredible driver that Antonietta recommended. He effortlessly navigated the winding coastal roads. The charming Villa Laura itself was a true oasis of tranquility. Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Positano, the property offered breathtaking views of the azure Mediterranean Sea. The rooms were elegantly decorated, with a perfect blend of Italian charm and modern comfort. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace, where we could relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. You must visit the family restaurant, La Tagliata, as well. The food is sure to leave you coming back for more!

Hillside paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Laura! The owners were wonderful and made us feel very comfortable and at home. Breakfast every morning was beyond wonderful! We even got to meet the namesake of the Villa, Laura. The patio outdoors was a wonderful place to sit and visit and drink wine to end up the day. Be aware there were mosquitos, so bring the bug spray. We totally enjoyed our time there and will visit again in the future.

Amazing views and hospitality

My wife and I stayed here this August and were blown away by the service and attention to detail. Antonietta, Renato, and the entire family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The views from the villa are incredible, giving you a sweeping panoramic of the sea and the town of Positano. The breakfasts served on the villa's private terrace are a delicious and relaxing way to stay your day, sipping coffee and watching the yachts off the coast. Big shout out to the family restaurant, La Tagliata, which serves an insane amount of delicious food, all cooked up by "mama" and the family. Also a big thank you to "papa," who took us to and from thr train station in Naples. A really outstanding experience made all the better by excellent service.

Super Host/Fabulous location

The property is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning. The rooms were delightful. The outdoor space that comes with this property fabulous. There is a table overlooking the water that we were served breakfast on every morning. Renato our host was so fun and attentive to all our needs. You can walk into town via the long staircase that leads down to town. Be aware you will get a leg workout for sure. You can take a bus back to the property instead of doing the stairs back. I would highly recommend booking an extra night there. Especially if you’re there with your partner, such a great place to hang out!

We are already planning to come back!

I first planned this trip in March 2020, so, a lot has happened since then, and part of that journey for me has been realizing that I wanted to find places that we would develop relationships with and return to over and over. Villa Laura is the one for this year's trip! Antoinetta and Renato were so incredibly kind and thoughtful, the little place is pristine, and their family has a restaurant "La Tagliata" just 3 blocks away. Best breakfast we had in Italy (served outside with the beautiful view), best dinner we had in Italy (with restaurant specialties), and we walked from there to the Path of the Gods (stopping on the way back at La Tagliata for beers and delicious snacks while looking out at the sea, wow, perfection). Antoinetta and Renato helped arrange transfers to and from Napoli, the bus is two blocks away and is like a Disneyland ride (beautiful! with thrilling corners!), and walking down to Positano was also fun, one of the ways down we saw sheep! Incredible. We wish we had been able to stay longer and will make sure to do so next time. Thank you Antoinetta and Renato for everything!

Exceptional stay

We stayed at the villa for two nights in November. We are frequent travelers but I don't recall a time when we felt so welcome by our hosts. The villa is a on the hill, with a beautiful view of the sea and the village. Very serene. The place is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect to relax for a few days. The breakfast laid out by Renato was amazing. It's a family business and you can see the family loves and takes pride in what they do. We are already thinking coming back.

Perfect stay in Positano - hosts cannot be beat!

We stayed at the end of a trip that included stops in Croatia and Rome. We were greeted upon arrival in Positano by Antonietta and Renato - seriously the best hosts you could ever hope for on a trip. Renato carried our bags to the villa (there are stairs so this was greatly appreciated), Antonietta helped book transportation, reservations and COVID testing while Renato prepared incredible meals every morning which were customized based on what we were in the mood for. The villa itself has gorgeous views of the water, is well equipped and the beds were a welcome comfort compared to what we had experienced elsewhere during our journey. I would recommend this location without hesitation - you will literally feel very much part of the family from the minute you arrive. Speaking of family we went to their family owned restaurant one night which offered delicious food but be sure you don't eat the day you go - the amount of food was off the charts.

The best hosts and beautiful property!

Villa Laura is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a huge outdoor garden overlooking the sea. My mother, sister, and I stayed there for 3 nights and Antonietta and Renato are incredible hosts. Antonietta is always available to answer questions and give advice, and Renato makes and serves glorious breakfasts in the garden. Their family also owns a restaurant nearby (La Tagliata) that is a must visit. They host a cooking class, which is hands down one of the most fun experiences of my life. The only very tiny drawback is that it is located in Montepertuso, which is at the top of Positano and requires either an expensive taxi ride or taking the public bus up and down. Both are very easy to do, it just adds some time and expense to the day. There is also a bit of a walk and a decent number of stairs to get to the villa, so it is not a place to stay for anyone with mobility issues. For reference, my mom is 78 and had no issues but did get a bit tired toward the end. I would recommend Villa Laura again and again!

Beste Unterkunft die man sich vorstellen kann

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön ca. 300 hm über Positano. Die Gastgeber sind unendlich hilfsbereit. Zum Empfang gab es einen leckeren Aperitif und jeden Morgen Frühstück mit allen Zutaten aus den eigenen Garten. Positano erreicht man zu Fuß in ca. 30 Minuten wenn man sportlich fit ist. Sonst nimmt man lieber den Bus. Eine Mahlzeit Familienrestaurant ist ein Muss. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Amazing stay in Amalfi Coast

Our family had the pleasure to stay at Villa Laura for a week starting October 12th, 2019. What a fantastic choice! I knew from the other reviews and communication with Antoinetta we would be in great hands and Villa Laura didn't disappoint. Clean spacious accommodations with a beautiful view. There are a couple of really good restaurants in Montepertuso where the villa is located as well as a convenient and well stocked grocery store. You will be blown away by their service and amazing breakfast! Come hungry because they will feed you well and a lot. This was our 5th trip to Italy and made me want to come back! Also if you want an amazing home cooked meal Antoinetta and Renalto's family owns La Tagliata which they will provide a shuttle to. Great restaurant! Hard to imagine not loving Positano and the Amalfi Coast especially with these hosts treating you like family! 💓💓

Awesome Hosts

Antonetta and Renato were awesome hosts. Great communication and help with arrival and daily events. Renato's breakfasts were feasts!!!! Location is not in Posiitano but 15-20 mins up the Mountain from the shore. Bus up and down are very cheap. If you are a hiker, great spot. Views are spectacular....Family restaurant is a huge Bonus. Great views and an Italian feast!

Amazing

Antonietta and Renato ( and Papa!) are amazing hosts. They could not have been more helpful to our group. The Villa itself is very clean and has everything you could ever need for a wonderful vacation. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. This is a five star property all the way! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
