The Egg Nuts apartment is on top of one of the oldest Pastry Shops shops in Porto historic center, where you can have your breakfast included on the price.

Is a large, charming and sunny space with 55m2. With one bed room, and a sofa-bed convertible on the living room is a comfortable place for 3.
Two bathroom and a kitchen with fridge / freezer, stove and microwave. With the necessary equipment for cooking during holidays or for a small stay in work. 
Is a second floor without elevator. 
You have free WIFI, music equipment and books, including city guides.

The Egg Nuts is a charming and beautiful apartment located in the heart of historic Porto city.
Just across the street you have the famous Praça dos Leões, Igreja do Carmo and Igreja das Carmelitas. The Clerigus Tower and the Portuguese Center of Photography are on your backside and you can also spot the famous Lello Bookshop on your right.
The quartier is not only surround by monuments, but also great restaurants, shops and traditional grocery's. A few 5 minutes walking from the Arts quartier Miguel Bombarda and 5 minutes walking from the quartier Galerias de Paris full of trendy bars.
During weekends the quartier is full of street markets where you can find a little of every thing!
You can also take a beautiful 20 minutes walking till the riverside - Ribeira.


This is a city center apartment, that is turn back to some courtyards with engines from restaurants. It make some noise, please note this if you are looking for a quiet place.

Communication was excellent. Luis responded very quickly when there was an issue with the fridge. I was looking for a traditional Portuguese apt & it was just that. 2 bathrooms a plus! Great location. Delicious & Complementary Pastries & espresso in the morning a bonus. My only reason for rating four stars instead of five was because the view out the window was very disappointing. If that is not important to you, then this is the apartment for you. But there is a building right outside of the windows, well several buildings and the appearance is a bit rundown. However, there are plenty of restaurants and historical sites within walking distance.

The unit feels big for Porto because it has high ceilings. There is nice central air. All the amenities you need are in the unit and it has a nice balcony and kitchen. It's also close to everything. If you come to Porto you will love it here especially the views and history.

Cutest apartment

This apartment, Egg Nuts, was perfect for our stay in Porto. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do. I had read that you could hear the motor of the businesses behind the apartment at night but we did not. We slept great. We had plenty of room, the apartment was clean and the communication with the owners was excellent. If you read my review, be aware that the tax is paid at check-in by cash. Breakfast was amazing. I would definitely go back and stay here.

Highly recommend

Wonderful apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Any issues, light bulb out in bathroom, were addressed immediately. Included breakfast was such a treat. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Porto, look no further!

Very Nice Apartment in Great Location

This is a bright, clean spacious apartment in a great location. You can walk to everything you want to see. There are tons of restaurants within 5-10 minutes. The Ribeira and Dom Luis I Bridge are within about 30 minutes, although there is a bit of a climb on the way back. The apartment has a second bathroom, which is a real bonus. The host Luis and his family own the bakery/confeitaria downstairs and breakfast there is included. If we return to Porto we will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic spot in the heart of the city

Fantastic! The entire process from booking to accessing the unit was seamless. All questions were answered in a very timely manner. The location could not have been better and the bakery downstairs was exquisite. The unit had ample space for two adults. Fluid communication with the hosts when needed.

Excellent Accomadation

The property was in an excellent location and immaculately clean. Tastefully furnished and with a balcony overlooking the rear of the property. It was very quiet at night and we had no issues with noise from neighbours. Two bathrooms really enhances the property’s appeal as did effective air conditioning. The breakfast from the cafe below was fantastic and the communication before and during our stay was very helpful. We loved Porto and would stay in the apartment again if we return. Thankyou

Honeymoon in Porto!

From the time I inquired about the property, the communication was excellent! The apartment was above a bakery in a great location and we walked everywhere. Such friendly people all around and felt very safe. The host arranged travel arrangements from train station and later to airport as well which very helpful.

Fantastic location

The location of this property is perfect for easy access to the main attractions in old Porto. The third floor apartment is roomy and gets great natural light. It is superficially clean, but could use a deep clean. Everything in it worked well and met our needs. We didn't meet the hosts, but they were in easy reach by phone. Finding the property was a bit difficult- it seemed the address we were given was for the whole block? A photo of the street entry door (which is quite small and not very obvious) would be helpful. Previous reviews mentioned a pastry shop downstairs (which might have supplied breakfast to guests of the apartment?), but it is now closed and the first two floors of the building are being renovated. Noshi, a cafe next door, was a good place to go for food, we found. The renovation work was no problem for us during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and the location was just fantastic.

Fantastic Return Trip

This was our second stay in the guest house. The first stay was in Hungarian biscuits, which has a beautiful view over of the street and church. This time we stayed in the Egg Nuts apartment, which while it does not have the church view, is wonderfully appointed and has the benefit of having no noise from the square during busy nights. We are looking forward to our third return trip.

L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce : hyper propre, lumineux et bien équipé. La vue extérieure n'est pas des plus avantageuse mais cela a le mérite de ne pas donner sur la rue passante. Nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit-déjeuner est absolument gargantuesque

Great choice for a stay in Porto

Check in was very easy and were welcomed by some treats from the bakery below which was very much appreciated 😊 Apartment is spotlessly clean and amenities as described in the listing. The owner is very helpful even arranging a very early morning transfer to the airport so we had one less thing to worry about. You are within walking distance to everything Porto has to offer! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Perfect stay in a roomy comfortable apartment.
