Está ubicado en el corazón del centro histórico de la ciudad de Oporto, en el barrio ribereño del Duero conocido como Ribeira, rodeado de los lugares más bellos e importantes de la ciudad como el Palacio de la Bolsa (Palacio de la Bolsa de Valores), el Palacio S João Novo, el Muro Dom Fernando, S Iglesia de Francisco, Palacio de las Artes, Hard Club, Instituto del Duero y del Puerto de Vinos, Casa de Henry - The Navigator, zona ribereña de Ribeira, puente Dom Luis I Eiffel y Bodegas de vino de Oporto.

En este barrio, puede pasear por las calles estrechas y sinuosas, disfrutar de las coloridas fachadas de las casas, una vez pintadas una vez alicatadas, probar la comida más típica en concurridas 'tascas' o restaurantes o tomar una fiesta en uno de los bares más animados de Ribeira o 'Galerías de París'!

We loved this property. The location, the decor and amenities.The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need, and we utilised it to make dnner on a couple of occasions. Given our stay in Portugal was for a month the in suite washing machine was very handy.Our host Isabel was fantastic. She was very prompt in responding to our queries. Due to a train strike we were forced to take a bus from Lisbon. Isabel very graciously arranged a driver to pick us up at the bus station and drive us to the apartment.Isabel was waiting for us. She took the time and great care to show us around the apartment and then showed us a local tourist map and walked us through the sites , circling landmarks and restaurants making notes for us. This was certainly helpful in the coming days of our week long stay.The complimentary bottle of Port was greatly appreciated.She also coninued to follow up throughout our stay, suggesting tours and restaurants and to ensure everything was satisfactoryAll in all a terrific week in a beautiful centrally located apartment, made even better by a professional and friendly host.

Isabel was extremely helpful from the moment I made the booking. Her recommendations were excellent and we booked a fantastic walking tour of Porto with Julio who was also excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I wish we could have stayed a lot longer! Thank you Isabel!

The property was great! Often the pictures of the property looks better in VRBO than they are but this property was accurate and did not disappoint. It was very nice with nice furnishings and supplies and clean. The hostess is wonderful, very helpful, quick to respond and one of the best I have ever dealt with!It’s in a great location too. I highly recommend staying.

Although we had rain, our stay was filled with memories due to the detailed planning of Isabelle. The accommodations were wonderful. The most comfortable of the many high end hotels we chose following Porto. The location was easy to navigate from on foot and of course Isabelle even provided an umbrella.

This apartment was perfect! It was steps away from the Douro River and lots of restaurants and sights. Isabel welcomed us and spent a lot of time recommending things to do - complete with a map!). I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!

We stayed at Design House Old Town for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, modern, extremely well decorated, and has everything for a stress-free stay. The host, Isabel, was present at check-in and responded promptly to all messages throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. The only negative thing is that the apartment is on a very narrow street with no car parking. This makes it a little difficult to arrive (and leave) by car with anything more than a little luggage. If you are not driving, and/or are travelling light, there are no negatives about Isabel's property.

Our host, Isabel was wonderful. I don't think there is anything she couldn't or wouldn't do for a guest and she helped us with many bookings. The apartment is nicely decorated and ideal for anyone wanting to weekend or so in Porto. For two older travelers on a several week trip in the EU, we could have used a bit more room to be ideal. Also I need more light than when I was younger so I found the lighting to be dimmer than I like. No fault of the apartment, we weren't necessarily the right tenants. Close to river made it easy to enjoy all there is to do with a short walk home

Porto is a lovely city. Apartment was close to the river and historic sites. It was very comfortable and clean. Complimentary port wine was a nice touch. Be ready for steep streets and steps to apartment. Parking is expensive and driving is challenging,

The apartment was beautiful in a location that made everything walkable , for two of us it was perfect! Isabel is a host extraordinaire , our experience in beautiful Porto would not have been the same without Isabel’s personal touch. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport , met us at the apartment with a wealth of information about Porto, valuable tips etc. and booked three tours for us. The apartment is neat, fully equipped and perfectly located. In addition, Isabel is a gem and very supportive. Thanks for helping us out with our reservations ! The restaurant next door, Mistu is a must try, especially their butterfish foie gras and the crème brulée. Isabel also arranged for us a very nice cruise on the Douro valley together with some wine tasting. Thank you so much !

I stayed with my 15 year old daughter at this cozy and modern property and we absolutely loved it! Location was great-close to the river, variety of restaurants for any budget, grocery stores, shopping and major attractions of Porto. But above all, i appreciate the care and hospitality of our host Isabel. She arranged eveey detail of our stay including airport transfer, tours, amazing breakfast delivery service provided by Tita-always on time, quality food and customized options depending on guest preferences. Isabel recommended and even booked for us few restaurants and we loved each of them for unique ambience and tasty meals. My words don't do the justice to Isabel for all the great care that made our stay at Porto so memorable. Thank you, Isabel!!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’appartement d’Isabel. Propre, joli, pratique, équipement complet pour la cuisine, lit douillet. Fauteuil du salon un peu inconfortable mais c’est la moindre des choses. Que dire de notre hôte!!! A . Accueil personnalisé, aide pour le transport à l’aéroport, des adresses pour les repas, les visites, etc. Je vous le recommande sans hésitation.
