Nob Hill perfectly combines historic elegance with modern vibrancy, making it a must-visit destination in Portland.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — The Nob Hill / Alphabet District is one of Portland's most walkable neighborhoods. NW 23rd and NW 21st avenues are lined with restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and bars — all within a few minutes' walk.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 15 (Belmont/NW 23rd) runs along NW 23rd Avenue with frequent service every 15 minutes to downtown (~10 min).



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's extensive bike lane network makes cycling easy and safe throughout the city.



🚗 Driving — Street parking is available (read signs for time limits and meters). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.

Please note: this is a private garden-level suite beneath a separate 4-bedroom home. The home above is a vacation rental we also manage — there is no permanent upstairs resident, and its guests are held to the same 10 PM – 7 AM quiet hours. Everyday footsteps and voices can still carry through the floor at times, especially in the evening. Light sleepers may want earplugs or a white-noise app.



The neighborhood is lively — bars and restaurants nearby mean some street sound in the evenings.



🚗 Parking — the driveway is not available for guest use; paid street parking is nearby (read posted signs for meters and time limits).



🪜 Access — a short flight of exterior stairs leads to the entrance; the suite is not step-free.



⏰ Quiet Hours — 10 PM – 7 AM (building + city ordinance)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
