Great for working professionals on their business trip or families in transition.

  • The California Condor was a common sight along the Columbia River in Lewis and Clark's day. By the early 1980's, there were only twenty-two left on the face of the planet, all in California. Today, thanks to a massive effort to re-populate the species via in-captivity pairing, there are some two-hundred members. But their recovery is far from assured. The Oregon Zoo has undertaken its own recovery effort whose ultimate goal is the re-introduction of the species into the protected wilderness area around the Columbia River Gorge. In short, to bring them home. For now, they live out their days in a vast, outdoor aviary designed specifically to mimic their habitat in the wild. If you have never seen one up close before, I urge you to come take a look. They are larger than any flying bird you will ever see, unless you go to Peru. And though black and white practically from head to toe, their plumage shines and reflects the light like dark, polished metal. If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will tell you that, as with all big birds, if you wait around long enough, they will do something so awe-inspiring that it will take your breath away, and something so goofy that you will laugh out loud. Family home near Oak Hills

This is a lovely home in Bethany, close to shops, restaurants and freeway access. Clean, spacious, well appointed. Host Henry was accommodating and check in/out was a breeze.

Wonderful place to stay

We couldn't have been happier with our experience staying in this home. The house is comfortable, clean, and very well appointed with everything we needed. It's located on a quiet neighborhood street, and was a convenient location for us as we were visiting family a few streets away. Everything was seamless from booking to arrival, and the hosts were kind and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect stay for our family of 3 in this house in Bethany. The check in process couldn’t have been easier and I was impressed by how clean the home was. Very comfortable. Would stay again!

Bethany Home

Nice house, quiet neighborhood. Listing mentioned a hot tub, there isn't one. The owner gave a small credit for the error. At 6:30 on a Saturday morning I heard the sound of leaf blowers to wake up and find a landscaper at my bedroom window blowing leaves. Owner didn't seem to care much. I understand its not his doing but the owner should have called and cancelled the service for the weekend. The patio furniture is for show and not seatable. These are the reasons I am not giving 5 stars. Other than that its a great home.
