Featured in Portland Monthly Magazine as "This Sexy, Private Guesthouse", built in 2016 the Urban Barn is perfect for a quiet business retreat, 1 or 2 couples' getaway or for families with kids, allowing you to stay in a quintessential Portland neighborhood while partaking of some of the City's best restaurants and eclectic offerings, many within walking distance. Check out our other nearby PDX Eco Cottage, a 1 bedroom guest house: Architecturally stunning, brand new guest house, PDX Urban Barn is perfect for a private solo escape or for a business retreat, a couple's (or two) getaway or families with kids, allowing you to stay in a quintessential Portland neighborhood while partaking of some of the City's best restaurants, many within walking distance. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen with induction cook top and dishwasher, two bedrooms (one a loft) high ceilings and skylights, cable TV, bathtub/shower, Washer/Dryer, heat and AC and private fenced patio with furniture (not in winter) are just a few of the amenities. We have an exterior camera to monitor that the premises are safe and uninvited guests are not entering the property.~~ We don’t ask you to do any cleaning, stripping of beds or emptying of trash. Please note that a $115 cleaning fee is due in cash at check in.~~ City of Portland ASTR Permit # 16-233772-HO If you think you might need to cancel outside of the refund zone, please consider getting traveler's insurance as we adhere to our cancellation policy.

Great quiet area close to grocery and sooo many restaurants! Well appointed modern and comfortable home with fantastic decor and taste with a nicely secluded location in a safe area. Host was fantastic with communication and reaching out to ensure all is good! Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved the Barn

We stayed in the Urban Barn for just a short time while in Portland for a graduation. The property was very clean and comfortable and in a fantastic neighborhood! Wish we could have spent a few more days there to explore and are looking forward to returning someday!

The "Barn" is very upscale, beautiful and comfortable. In addition, the location is perfect - walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and shopping. Loved this spot and look forward to coming back!

Wonderful place to stay

I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Wonderful place. In fact, I wish there had been more time to enjoy it (was in town for a conference) because it’s the perfect environment to hide away for a couple of days. The location is phenomenal, with top notch food/coffee options on a block or two away.The owner was great with communication and a very warm host.I highly recommend all around!
