Columbia Gorge Industrial Loft on 2nd Street - 2 bdrm plus Den

Beautiful brand new industrial style townhouse with sweeping views of the Columbia River and historic Troutdale. Located across the street from the Troutdale House, walking distance to outlet mall, one mile from Edgefield, three miles from the Riverview Restaurant, and only eight miles from Portland International Airport. 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and den. The location is perfect for trips to the Gorge, Skiing on Mt. Hood, taking in a concert at Edgefield or visiting Portland.

The townhouse was built in 2017 and has a lite airy and open floor plan with sweeping views of historic Troutdale and the Columbia River. It has been furnished with guests comfort in mind and to reflect the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge Area. The house is fully air conditioned and insulated to the high energy standards. Here is information about each room area within the townhouse: First Level: Living Room/Dining Room: One of my favorite places to relax. Expansive windows that frame a territorial view of Washington State and Historic Troutdale. Balcony to take in the views and get fresh air. Large 65" flat screen smart TV with access to SLING TV and Netflix, blue ray player and blue tooth soundbar. High speed internet. The dining room has a table that seats six and extra bar stools for counter seating. Kitchen is fully appointed with all the necessities of a luxury modern home. Half bath and Laundry Room: Full size washer and dryer. Iron, ironing board, first aid kit provided Second Level: Master Bedroom: Large open vaulted ceilings with windows and balcony that has sweeping views. The balcony is great for having a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine or beer in the evening. Queen size 12 inch memory foam mattress. I have this same mattress in my N. Portland BNB and it gets great reviews for comfort. Reading corner with 46" smart TV, blue ray player with access to Sling TV and Netflix. Master bath has two double sinks, stand up shower and and walk in closet. Shampoo, Conditioner and bath gel provided. Qtips, cotton balls and ear plugs also provided. Second Bedroom: Very quaint and cozy. Queen size 12 inch memory foam mattress. Beautiful reading lamps and your choice of light filtering shades or complete blackout. Den: The den is open to the hallway. Great place to relax and read a book. Doubles as a very comfortable sleeping area. Daybed has an eight inch memory foam twin mattress with a twin trundle. Combined it will sleep two adults easily. The den also has a combination light filtering or complete blackout shade. Shoji screen provided for privacy. Guest Bathroom: Bath/Shower Combination. Bright and clean. Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel provided. Note: Similar to most hotels. I utilize exterior security cameras to monitor the properties two entrances. I use this to assist me in managing the property, ensuring cleaning staff arrive and for overall security.

TROUTDALE CONDO

It was a wonderful place to stay. The condo itself was exactly what VRBO had described. It was very clean, very well decorated and made us feel right at home. It had everything that we needed. There are 2 outdoor porch decks that overlook the quaint Main Street that we used often to watch what was going on around town. The condo is on the next street over but has a clear view of the Main street and the mountains over on the Washington side of the river. We walked around that area to the restaurants and the shops often. The beach and river is right around the corner. The photo of it on VRBO is accurate and always had emergency personnel on hand as the current does get swift in spots. Troutdale is situated in an ideal area to get to Mount Hood, to all the waterfall areas, to Portland (about 25 minute drive), to Washington state, to the many wineries and to the coast (about 2.15 hour drive). We had a great stay at the condo and in the Portland area.

Would definitely come back!

Feel like we found a real gem in the Portland area here. Perfect for our family with grown children. Modern with a cozy vibe, the loft is comfortable, clean, spacious, well-appointed and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Ken is very responsive on email and we certainly appreciated his flexibility with our check-in (so welcome after an all-night flight). We would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again!

Great base for ranging around Portlandia

This duplex is clean, spacious and nicely furnished. It’s in a great location a few miles from downtown Portland and right on the Columbia River Gorge. There also are some local parks along the Sandy River that are lovely places to walk, run and birdwatch. Groceries, coffee and such are close by. Ken was very responsive to our few questions, and checking in and out was simple. Highly recommended.

One week stay in Troutdale.

Location of this property was absolutely perfect, it was very clean and had all the amenities you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable and grocery market are less than 2 miles away. Ken, the owner is easy to communicate with in the event you have questions or need anything. We were a family of four, three adults and one teenager, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Visiting Multnomah Falls is a must as well as ordering pizza across the street at “The way out Inn” it is DELICIOUS, add the roasted garlic...yumm! We loved the little town of Troutdale. We look forward to returning to this lovely property.

Great place for a family visit

We had a nice time in the loft. It met our needs for a family of three perfectly. The kitchen was very well outfitted with pots, pans, a blender, toaster, coffee maker, and it was fun to find some non perishable food left from previous renters in the fridge and cupboards, like coffee, butter, peanut butter, and jelly, and cereal. There were even some baking supplies. We were even able to have other family members visit for games and dinner one night. The four star rating on cleanliness was only due to one small problem that was addressed with the owner. Overall the place was very clean.

Excellent townhouse in Troutdale

A group of 5 adults stayed at Ken's townhouse in downtown Troutdale for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The property is clean, spacious, exactly as described in pictures. It was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and well-laid out. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We enjoyed our two nights in Troutdale and would stay here again should we need to return to this area!

Very nice Loft.

The property is spotless, very clean , and well maintained. My girlfriend and I had a nice time staying here. This was a nice location for my outdoor hiking activities. Ken responded to all my questions quickly. The view to the North is beautiful looking toward the Columbia river valley. Parking is easy. You can park on the South side of the property in the street or on the North side of the property under the balcony area. Kitchen had necessary utensils/ plates/ bowls/ pans to prepare meals if you want to cook. The couch downstairs was very comfortable and nice. The bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable. Check in / check out was very easy with the key pad locks. This is a nice 5 star VRBO loft. I would definitely stay here again :) Nick & Janice

Our stay in Troutdale was short but fun. This unit was very comfortable, new, modern and convenient. The town of Troutdale is small but inviting and is a short walk to dining, pub, shopping, coffee shop and more. It’s perfect location to make the loop up Columbia River Gorge to Hood River, Mt Hood, and back for a fun filled day and abundant scenery.
