The Casco Bay Inn is a nice hotel. It is a former Wyndham property now privately owned, but well maintained. There were some ceiling tiles missing in our hallway, but otherwise the property was clean and well maintained. They lock the lobby doors at 10pm and this is a hotel, not a motel, so I felt safe.
Room was clean with an excellent bed. No frills, but the shower was strong with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was a good assortment of bread items including muffins, plus fruit (apples, oranges, bananas) and three types of cereal. The coffee was not very good though.
Very convenient location near US1 and the Freeport/LL Bean shopping area.
This is a great value hotel. Probably a notch below the Spring Hill near-by, but half the price.
I would stay here again.
