O apartamento era exactamente como estava descrito: excelente localização, com AC e internet. Nada a apontar! :)

Localização é tudo!
Para alguém que toda a vida teve família em Portimão a excelência da localização não foi novidade. O apartamento cumpre com tudo o que promete. O ar condicionado sem falhas, o Wi-Fi.
O supermercado por baixo do empreendimento dá imenso jeito, as pessoas são muito simpáticas e a praia do Vau continua soberba. Ir e vir a pé para a praia vale tudo.
Só posso apontar como a melhorar, a limpeza do apartamento que era muito sofrível (de certeza que quem foi depois de mim não se pode queixar do mesmo), e o fato de haverem algumas baratas. Típico desta zona do Algarve mas ainda assim evitável (também comprei e coloquei algumas armadilhas).
Penso repetir e isso diz tudo.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll, aber das Appartement ist alt und nicht gerade sauber.
Die Kommunikation war nicht so einfach und nur, weil wir immer wieder nachgehakt haben, konnten wir früher als 18Uhr einchecken. Eigentlich wollten wir mittags kommen. Das war stressig, vor allem mit Baby. Die Wohnung ist, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, alt und na ja gewöhnungsbedürftig eingerichtet. Überall liegen alte Putzlappen und Putzutensilien, aber sauber war sie nicht. Es roch auch seltsam. Aus den Whirlpooldüsen kam ekeliges schwarzes Zeug, das Wasser lief nicht ab. Die Stühle auf dem Balkon waren kaputt und nicht zu benutzen. Das Geschirr klebrig. Die Poolanlage gar nicht schön, aber der Pool an sich recht sauber. Die Straße vor und vor allem die neben dem Haus ist recht laut. Die große Kakerlake (kann einem ja immer mal passieren) hat allem noch die Krone aufgesetzt. Wenn man optisch damit klar kommt und bei Ankunft putzen möchte, kann man das Appartement empfehlen. Nett war, dass die Vermieter nicht so sehr böse waren, dass unsere Kleine einen der zahlreichen Fische kaputt gemacht hat. Die Lage ist halt top.

Great location...however...
My partner and I were overall very happy with this accommodation, having stayed here for the whole of June and the good price we paid.....
First the good:
The location in Vau is great with a fab sea view! It has a few restaurants nearby, as well as beach bars and a Spar. On arrival the owners fathers met us on time with keys and gate access. The apartment was clean and tidy and is quite spacious (there were 2 of us staying there) and is one of the most well equipped I've stayed in with more than adequate cutlery, crockery, tuppaware etc. The enclosed parking is invaluable as it gets very busy on the street. The pool area and pool is very good (though the filter didn't seem to be working), however the complex cleaner did her best to ensure most of the leaves and bugs were removed. The balcony is quite big and was also clean - having a hammock, 2 sun loungers and a patio table with 4 chairs and 2 invaluable awnings to create shade in the late afternoon.
The Bad:
The apartment DOES NOT have internet as advertised. After directly asking the owner (by message before booking) if the apartment has internet I was extremely disappointed on arrival to find it hasn't. I asked where the internet was and he gave us the password to the Spar's wifi - which is 50+m away and we were unable to connect to 80% of the time. After 4 days we contacted the owner about this and he brought a usb plug-in dongle which unfortunately was no good to us as it wouldn't work on iPhone's or iPad's - just on laptops.
The property DOES NOT have air conditioning as advertised!!! What it does have is a oscillating tower fan, that didn't oscillate.
On arrival I was curious as to the 'pest reject' plug-in that was located near the front door...my curiosity was sated when I discovered the cockroaches after a few days. They were always found dead (fortunately the plug-in works) and were discovered in the lounge and bathroom after returning from a night out.
It's unfortunate that the apartment is directly opposite the only bus stop in Vau so privacy was virtually nonexistent. To sit on the balcony meant we were constantly being watched by many people waiting for both the Alvor & Portimão bus, and those walking by. Also sat at the bus stop they could see directly into the apartment so you have to keep the curtains partially drawn to have any privacy.

Umas férias muito desejadas!
O melhor deste apartamento é sem dúvida a sua localização!
Apesar de todos os outros aspectos serem também muito positivos, muito bem equipado, limpo, arrejado. Com uma decoração alusiva ao local onde se encontra, o que o torna muito acolhedor. Está fantástico! Saliento ainda a simpatia e disponibilidade do proprietário, foi um processo simlpes e tranquilo.
Gostariamos muito de repetir para o próximo ano.

"Gostaria de começar por dizer que achei tudo 5*, a casa é acolhedora, a praia é espectacular para quem quer repousar do stress, tem uns cafezinhos ali à volta muito acolhedores e com vistas fabulosas. Agora falando da casa em si, gostei muito das condições que oferece e para um casal é o ideal, aconselho este apartamento, até porque tem uma piscina espectacular..."

"O apartamento é acolhedo...
"O apartamento é acolhedor e mesmo em frente à Praia do Vau o que facilita para quem tem filhos pequenos. A estadia correu bem e não tendo nada a apontar, negativamente. É, sem dúvida, um bom sitio para férias."
