The communication on checking in was an absolute nightmare. It took us over 2 hrs to eventually speak to someone after calling, emailing and txting the no. Provided. Having my 2 small children with me and finally getting into our room at 10.30pm was very stressful.

I only needed an unplanned 1 night stay & chose because it was a heat wave & stated it had air conditioning. Got 5 messages off them through the Hotels.com messaging. Most of which were repeat's or stretched out so wasted my time. Had to pay deposit on the phone which I don't like as I am giving full access to somebody I don't know. It was the night of the England v Argentina game so got some cans & something o eat. The aircon says it was on but got zero benefit so guess it doesn't work. Messaged them on the Hotels.com messaging system & got absolutely no response at all. Next tried the TV to get the game. For some reason it didn't have BBC1, only had BBC Ireland. Even after retuning. Location good near the Cavern quarter & was reasonably equiped but when you can't get a standard TV channel you want, the aircon you are paying for doesn't work, you get bombarded by useless messages but they don't respond when you message them, I found it frustrating & wouldn't go back.
