Dog-Friendly, Pickleball & Beach, Heated Pool!

Reservations include complimentary beach gear package, $35 daily credit, personalized to fit your needs. Beach gear options include kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, corn hole, and much more. Applicable for stay durations between 3-21 nights.

Finn's on the Cape is located in the gated community of Barrier Dunes on North Cape San Blas, Port St Joe, Florida. Barrier Dunes is a resort style community with 2 community pools and easy, deeded beach access. One community pool is Gulf front and heated March-April, and October-November. Other community amenities include boat parking, tennis courts, and several ponds for fishing. T.H. Stone Memorial Park is less than a mile down the road offering beach and bay access, great shelling, as well as kayak, bike, and paddle board rentals. Also nearby is ConeHeads, Weber's Donuts, Cape Trading Post, and St. Joe Shrimp Company.

Finn's on the Cape is a townhome offering accommodations for 8 with 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 4 private balconies. Recently renovated, Finn's on the Cape is modern, bright, and inviting. The living room offers comfortable seating with cable television & high speed WIFI. A bay window offers additional seating by bench with picturesque views of the community. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, all major appliances, including a starter supply of amenities. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area with seating for 4. An open floor plan runs throughout the dining, living, and kitchen areas providing a fully functional living space.

The second floor, main living, has one guest bedroom with full bed and full trundle, accommodating 4. This guest room offers a private balcony, ceiling fan, cable television, and detached bath with shower/tub combination. The third floor offers two additional bedrooms, one guest and one primary, both with a private balcony. The guest room is a queen bed with ceiling fan, cable television, and attached bath with shower/tub combination. The primary bedroom offers a king bed with private balcony, ceiling fan, cable television, and attached bath with double vanity and walk-in shower.

The townhome overlooks a community pool, tennis courts, and fishing pond. All the best amenities in close proximity. Covered parking is provided for one vehicle while the driveway can accommodate three small cars or two large SUVs. Visit Finn's on the Cape for your next great escape!

Our stay at this Cape San Blas rental was filled with issues that severely impacted our trip. We arrived at 2:30am, only to find the gate codes were incorrect, leaving us stranded outside. Once inside, we were welcomed by a deceased rat on the doorstep.The home itself had safety concerns, including broken tiles on the stairs and a main floor tub that wouldn’t drain—complete with a plunger left beside it, suggesting management knew of the issue. Cleanliness was also lacking; we found a roach in the kitchen, and the microwave was literally held together with duct tape.Despite advertising a hot tub, there wasn’t one onsite. Our inquiry about this received no response. Parking was another major problem. Overflow parking was full, and although we moved our vehicles promptly when contacted, we were still told it was “unacceptable” due to an HOA failure to reinspect. We were then threatened with fines over alleged sprinkler damage, which we disproved with photo evidence—again, no reply.We were even questioned about exceeding occupancy limits based solely on our vehicle size, despite being well within the allowed number.Between the poor maintenance, lack of communication, and intrusive HOA behavior, our experience was frustrating and stressful. We won’t be staying here again and can’t recommend it to others.

We had a good time. We had anxiety about all the notes/rules, especially the staining of linens. The sheets in the bunk room were well-worn/peeling, but the bed was comfortable. The water did not drain properly in all showers and the oven temperature was a little off, but functioned.

the grill was rusted out and close to running out of gas We Have been coming here for over 18 years. if things were there like bikes beach doly and basic things that would make it a lot better and have fun.a front entrace seating would be good to after coming from the beach so you can sit down and get things in order.

Great week at the beach!

Very nice place! We love it at the Barrier Dunes. Close to the beach, nice pools, great place to stay, and some excellent local dining. There were a few small issues, but a call to the manager got us a quick visit from their handyman, and he fixed everything in short order. All in all, a great week!

We had great time at Brittney’s place. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Easy and close access to the beach and great quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and in constant touch if needed. We’ll be back for sure!

Great community

This gated community offered a family friendly environment that was safe with 2 pools and beautiful Gulf access. The town home was clean and very nicely decorated. The close access to one of the pools was great for the kids. We enjoyed overlooking the pond from the balcony while we grilled. This is a walking community, plan to walk to the beach (no parking by gulf access). Bring a wagon if you plan on taking heavier items to the beach. The only thing of ground level is your car. Plan on climbing stairs. Management was very responsive.

Great property

Overall this was a great stay! The house was clean, all linens were clean and they left a vacuum and broom for maintenance throughout the week (very necessary when staying at the beach!) We never had an issue reaching the contact person for questions and they were super friendly. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart however as it's a good little walk to the beach!
