St. Joe Beach is a laid back strip of beach less than 5 miles, tucked between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. The quiet shoreline of white sandy beaches is protected by Cape San Blas peninsula making it ideal for vacationing families. What also makes St. Joe Beach special is that it is a pet friendly beach. While dogs aren’t allowed on Mexico Beach, you can stay minutes down the road and let your four-legged companion join in on the fun.

Anchored Inn is located just a short walk from the beach and has great views of the water from the large deck. If you do decide to bring your dog, or children lol, the owners have taken the worry out for you with a retractable gate on the top floor deck. This is where you will find a bistro table for your morning coffee, and the large picnic table for evening meals. Also outside, there is a great outdoor shower tucked away under the exterior stairs, a ground floor patio, a single car garage and a fire pit in the fenced in backyard.

Anchored Inn has a unique layout as it has separate, full accommodations on the ground floor as well as upstairs. So, if you are looking for some privacy during your stay but have to bring the rest of your family along too there’s a distinct separation between the two floors. Both levels have their own kitchen, dining and living areas with one bedroom on the ground floor and the remaining three upstairs.
