Gulf front single family home with a community pool. 2-The-Beach is located in Brighton by the Beach neighborhood, a gulf front community of single family homes with community pool reminiscent of Seaside or Rosemary Beach without all the hustle and bustle.

This 3 bedroom home is a very nice and comfortable place to lay your head at night after enjoying all that this area has to offer. The property is sitting beachfront and has a wonderful screen porch that offers breathtaking views of the serene beach. Bring the whole family and don’t leave your four legged family member behind; pet fees are applicable. With extras such as Internet access, a supply of books and games, parkside grill, bathrooms in every bedroom and two furnished decks, you are bound to have a great time here.  

Floor Plan: Ground level-BR1-queen bed, TV, VCR and full bath; washer/dryer closet; and BR 2-queen bed, full bath, TV, DVD, VCR and sliding glass doors that open onto a furnished deck with a walkway leading you to the beach and community pool. 1st Level-full bath, dining area, kitchen, open living area with TV, DVD, VCR, a twin sleeper sofa and large doors and windows that open out onto a fantastic gulf front, furnished screened porch. 2nd Level-BR 3-king bed, TV, twin sleeper sofa and a full bath.

Had a great time enjoying the beach, the pool and the local area. The house fit our family perfectly - clean and comfortable. Everything was an easy walk away.

The location was perfect, the beach was not crowded. We loved the screened deck, when we weren't on the beach we were on the screened deck. The condo could use some updating. The living room furniture is worn & the beds could use new mattresses. But we loved that each bedroom has it's own bathroom plus and additional bathroom on the main level. The area was quiet and relaxing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at 2 the Beach!

Property had a few deferred maintenance issues, but the showers and AC worked so we had a great time. The beach is as uncrowded as possible for Florida, and Port St Joe has a delightful downtown area. Overall, a great vacation. Check in/check out was super easy too.

We just went for a quick beach weekend. The house was lovely! There is a nice screened in Porch with a gorgeous view. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves as well as the pool!! Would love to go back!

Property and surrounding houses sit right on standing water. Cesspool for mosquitos. Couldn’t sit on the patio or by the pool or outside near the house for any period of time. You couldn’t walk from the front to back yard with any beach gear, you have to take everything through the house. I would not recommend this location.

The location was fantastic - literally 165 steps down a boardwalk to get to the beach. We couldn't have been any closer unless we were actually on a boat. That being said, the property is definitely worn down. The furniture in the living room and the bedrooms has seen much better days. Water damage on the ceiling around all the canister lights in the living room. The whole building also would shake from time to time... it was very disconcerting. And for our stay at least, the screen porch was unusable (with all the mosquitos) as half of the screen was missing from one of the large windows and the porch screen door was essentially falling off the hinges. With our toddler, it was a definite safety hazard. Communication with the property management company was great, but good communication can't overcome the disrepair of the rental. While I would go back to Cape San Blas, I wouldn't recommend this property especially for $600 a night.

The house and location were very nice, although the house was a bit run-down and outdated. Overall, it was clean, but not deep-cleaned. It is well-furnished and the kitchen well-supplied. Property management had called prior to say that the pool would not be available during our stay, which was something we were looking forward to. They offered to try to find us an alternative location, but never called back. I had to call back to follow up. BUT, the house is lovely with a great location near a nice, uncrowded beach, the beautiful state park, horseback riding, and awesome restaurants. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Check-in was easy with the Smartlock entrance. Suzanne at the property management office was helpful with questions I had prior to our trip. When we arrived the house did not appear to be cleaned as all the bathrooms had hair on floor, sand on floors in 2nd bedroom, it appeared the bottom sheet was not changed in that same bedroom, there was a strong musty odor in kitchen near refrigerator, 2nd floor bathroom and in upstairs master bathroom, stains on all the bedroom quilts, one of the leatherette couches and curtains, and extra pillows and comforters thrown in floor closets. We spent about an hour upon arrival cleaning up which was not a pleasant experience or way to start a vacation. Aside from the home's lack of cleanliness, it does have a nice floorplan, in a quiet area with short walk to beach.

Overall ok. Couldn’t use microwave. It would kick out a breaker for some of the plugs in the kitchen. House needs some tlc. Loved the location on the beach and the small community of the houses.

This place was perfect, except the microwave didn’t work the entire time we were there. A couple of things that could have made the stay nicer would be more towels and a blanket for pull out sofa, but it’s a great location and beach was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had everything we needed and enough room for our family. This is a three-story house, so there are lots of stairs. Convenient to pool and short walk to beach. The dog friendly beach was great and being spring break not crowded at all. The only negative comments are the two downstairs bedrooms. The headboard needs to be attached to the bed frame in the first one and in the last bedroom the bed squeaks terribly. The entire complex and the walkway to the beach could use new decking, beware of splinters if you are barefoot. Overall we had a great week and would definitely consider this property again.
