  • Welcome to The Potter House, your beachfront oasis in St. Joe Beach, Florida! With breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, this delightful vacation home is perfect for families and furry friends alike, thanks to nearby dog-friendly beaches.

    On the main floor, you’ll find an inviting open-concept layout featuring a fully stocked kitchen equipped with all major appliances, making meal prep a breeze. The cozy living and dining areas are perfect for gathering, complete with a comfortable sleeper sofa and a queen bed for extra sleeping space. For convenience, the guest bedroom on this floor boasts an attached bath with a walk-in shower.

    Venture to the second floor, where two additional guest bedrooms await—one with a queen bed and the other with two twins, sharing a stylish bath. Step outside to the large Gulf-facing balcony, ideal for sipping morning coffee or evening cocktails while soaking in the panoramic views. The covered lower patio provides a shaded retreat, complete with a wood-burning fire pit for those perfect beachside evenings. The Potter House is the ultimate getaway for fun and relaxation by the sea!

    Reservations include beach gear credit ($35 daily), personalized to fit your needs. Beach gear options include kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, corn hole, and much more. Applicable for stay durations between 3-21 nights.

    • Primary renter must be at least 25 years old.
    • Dog friendly property. Up to 2 dogs permitted (60 lb maximum per dog). $125 nonrefundable pet fee. Cats and restricted
    dog breeds are not permitted.
    • Signed rental agreement required prior to arrival.
    • Credit card processing fees are nonrefundable. No exceptions.
    • Guests may be charged for stained or damaged linens and towels.
    • Pool heat is provided October through November and March through April.

Beautiful property directly on the beach. It was very clean with lots of amenities. The communication with the property manager prior to our stay was greatly appreciated. Our dog loved it!! We will be back!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Potter House s exactly as described. It has convenient access to restaurants, Piggly Wiggly and Dollar stores. The Uptown Raw Bar, Shipwreck, Mango Marley’s and Killer Seafood restaurants all have excellent food. The house is very pretty, clean and well-maintained. We stay there every trip if available. And of course the beach is incredible!

We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time using Vrbo and also to Port St.Joe! So nice and quiet. The distance to the beach was the best with small children. We will be back!!!

Overall a great 10 days. Being pet friendly was huge. Location was convenient to go either way, PSJ or Mexico Beach. We felt very comfortable and had no problems whatsoever. Definitely big enough for a family to relax and have dinner together. Amazing seafood just 10-15 minutes either direction. Felt mostly like a private beach.

Our stay at The Potter House was outstanding and everything we had hoped it would be! Exceeding our expectations of a restful Gulf side getaway with plenty of room for access to family & friends over Thanksgiving week.We had respite of serenity & ‘beach heaven’ unmatched by any of our other stays on the Gulf!We traveled down from Northern Virginia with retired friends from NC & their sweet pup.The Potter House is pristine, well decorated, kitchen stocked with amenities “like home”, (we enjoyed cooking often), and the floor plan allowed our family & friends to join us occasionally.Close proximity to Panama City & Tyndall AFB, & St Joe, allowed shopping, dining out, keeping our needs of essentials (Dollar General 1/2mike walk away) supplies filled.We were taking advantage of the roominess for deck times, beach walks, & fire pit time Our hosts allowed us extended time (cause we’re retired & can) and were prompt to our requests!We will stay again these fine hosts and highly recommend staying at the Potter House!!Many thanks for our memories

Low Key on Forgotten Coast

The house and location were perfect for our family getaway. All we wanted to do was relax, play in the Gulf, sit around a bonfire, and eat excellent seafood. We got to do all of that here.The kitchen is fully stocked. It’s a drip style coffee pot. There is a Gas grill outside even though there is a charcoal grill in the pictures. The grill stopped working halfway through grilling burgers, it possibly ran out of propane. We let the property know.I am only giving 4 stars for cleanliness because I addressed an issue with something unfortunate we found in a nightstand, to the property, and I was sent a link to leave a review instead of them addressing it. Other than that, the house was super clean.I would book here again! It’s quiet, relaxing, and allowed us to create some of our best beach memories.
