  • Sunset House se eleva a una altura agradable para ver a la gente caminando y el puerto de Port Clyde tarareando.   Desde su terraza orientada hacia el sudoeste, el chef puede disfrutar cocinando una tormenta de comidas y pescados locales en una cocina que presenta un ambiente de cabaña de antaño y una mesa grande para que los invitados se unan a la camaradería de las amistades de verano.
    El dormitorio de la reina y la habitación con dos camas en el pasillo.  Un modesto césped sombreado para disfrutar de la fresca brisa del mar.  Todo el día a pleno sol en la terraza frente al mar. Una estufa de leña Franklin en la sala para reuniones frías por la noche.  Informal y divertido, Sunset House estará en tu memoria meses después.  Muchos regresan año tras año aquí.   TV, wi-fi, teléfono fijo.  Traiga sus bicicletas, le encantará montar a caballo o caminar por la sinuosa carretera a lo largo de la costa, donde este lugar de verano ofrece la paz, la tranquilidad y la belleza que su alma anhela en un refrigerio.

Seaside Port Vlyde

Beautiful location and very relaxing. Close to the tiny fishing town with a few amenities. Easy drive to the larger towns for all other needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet location overlooking the water. House is comfortable, with well appointed kitchen. Nice location, easy walk into the port, to restaurants and lobster co-op. Cannot wait to come back!

Perfect location

The location was lovely. Close to all our destinations on the coast. Loved the small town. The home was nice. Enjoyed the fire pit!

This is a comfortable home in a wonderful location. We loved the upper level deck and kitchen space in particular. Great view and breezes. Port Clyde is great and we enjoyed the walk to everything location.

Summer vaca at the Sunset house

We enjoyed our time here. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The conveniences were nice too; dishwasher, washer/ dryer, good amount of fans and a full working kitchen for cooking.

Loved the layout of the house with the living space on the 2nd floor. The deck is fantastic, so is the fire pit area. Did a lot of walking - to the village, to Marshall Point and Drift Inn Beach. For hiking, I drove to Clark Island Preserve (gorgeous!!!), Beech Hill Preserve and Riverview Hayfields Preserve. Overall, my stay was outstanding!

Beautiful location

We loved staying in Sunset House. The upstairs living space with a well appointed kitchen and spacious porch was so enjoyable. There are a few steps to enter the house and stairs to get from the first floor bedroom space to the second floor living space. It was a wonderful week there that we hope we will be able to return to next year.

Sunset Cottage

We enjoyed our stay. View of water was great. Unfortunately the week we stayed it was very foggy. House was very clean and well kept. Neat items (baskets, pots, pictures, books) through out the house. We liked the 2 living room areas. Great place to stay.

Relaxing and peaceful stay by the ocean

The sunset house was amazing! Beautiful location with amazing views! The house had everything we needed to feel at home. Fire was perfect for the fall days and nights! Looking forward to visiting Port Clyde again! Trish and Charles

Lives up to it's name "Sunset House"

Sunset House was a cute cottage with Maine characteristics. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset over Port. Clyde.

Beautiful home with a good view of the harbor. Well appointed and very clean. Walls framed but not closed or insulated so it got a little chilly; there’s a wood burning stove on one level. Not much happening in the harbor. Lovely outdoor deck. Comfy for 4 people. Communication with host was excellent. Would recommend!

Lovely spacious retreat

This property is an ideal, spacious seaside cottage with views from almost every room. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and the whole house has a cozy vibe to it. We enjoyed board games, reading and most of all, hanging out on the upper deck - spectacular sunsets! The location is excellent; just a short walk down to the docks and village center. We found our stay here comfortable and relaxing - just great in every way! We would like to come back next year!

Perfect family trip!

The Sunset house was the perfect place to spend our summer vacation. The views are stunning, the house was stocked as well as any rental I’ve seen, especially the kitchen. We appreciated all the little touches and the perfect balance of rustic and modern. Would highly recommend. Port Clyde is very quaint. The ice cream parlor was a nightly stop and the General Store has everything we needed.

Wonderful stay in Port Clyde

The Sunset House lived up to its name. Beautiful views of the harbor and islands and well maintained. We have stayed at numerous properties through VRBO and this was probably the best equipped of any. Kitchen was very well stocked with quality products and any implement needed. Location was perfect and convenient to local attractions and provisions. Thorough and prompt communication with Veronika the manager. We'll be back!

Annual Maine trip

We’ve stayed in Port Clyde for several years now for our week vacation and this was the first time in this property. It has a lovely living space. The kitchen is amazing and well equipped. The deck has wonderful view. The master bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The second bedroom is good for 2 children, but not enough space for two adults in our opinion. Despite that, we would return to this property.

Peaceful Getaway in a Great Location

Sunset House had everything we needed for our week stay. The bedrooms downstairs were very comfortable as was the downstairs living area. Plenty of couch space for two teen kids to sprawl. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook, and there was a large kitchen table to gather. The accompanying porch/balcony just off the kitchen and upstairs living area provided a perfect place to view the harbor and sunsets (or to work as needed). And the location - on a quiet road but a short walk to the general store (and basketball court for teens that like to hoop) was perfect.
