The property offered all the amenities we needed, and the host was pleasant, responsive, and very accommodating. The location was also convenient and centrally located for our plans.The area that could use improvement is cleanliness. Some surfaces, like fans and shelves, were dusty, and there was a bug issue with the outside garbage. At one point, when I moved a small piece of furniture, it also left my fingers sticky. A more thorough deep cleaning would go a long way in elevating the overall experience.That said, the home itself was comfortable and well equipped, which made it easy to settle in during our stay.

Nice spot

Overall it was a good experience staying here. The kitchen and master bedroom were excellent. The lanai is looking old and the screens had patches. The fan out there really wobbles. Yard was less impressive in person than online. My dog would not go out there without me. There was some confusion with the light/fan controls as well as the tv remotes. We were visiting friends nearby so the location was great for us.

Updates required

Property is due for some major updates. Furniture is older and dated and uncomfortable. Beds were very good. Lanai needs most of the screens replaced and secluded backyard has a few weeds but mostly dirt. Locations has many restaurants and shopping. Close to community pools and dog parks.

Comfortable quiet location

The entire place was comfortable, as displayed online, with comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, a quiet location, close to grocery stores and a park we drove to daily for walking. The owner was quickly responsive to a call re: no hot water in the kitchen and replaced the fixture, which fixed the issue. Thanks to our hosts for a comfortable stay.

Great location and quiet atmosphere

This property is centrally located just off of main highway (Route 41) so it is easy to travel toward Punta Gorda or the other direction toward the beaches and Englewood-Venice area. It is just far enough off the highway to give peace and quiet with its fenced yard and woods behind it. Comfortable beds and furniture. Hope to return.

Visit to help family member in assited living

it is a very quiet location, however the homeowner told me it was about 7 minutes from Engelwood where we needed to help family member but in fact it ws over 20 miles. Long commute daily. The home had adeqate supplies but lacked clean frying pans, decent coffee mugs , a bowl to mix scrambled eggs. The bowl was badly cracked . Handle for freezer on fridge was broke off. King bed mattress was set in a water bed frrame and did not fit properly and was very difficult to get out of.The grill was filthy and would not ignite. Ceiling fans on the lani were filthy with grease. Had a garage but was not available due to extra appliances stored in it. Screen in lani was badly ripped so bugs were getting in. Quiet neighborhood. Would not recomend or return.

The size of the house was good for us. not clean

Loved the back yard and size of this house. Location is on a very busy road with no speed limit. House was not clean. Bathroom flooded with back up of septic system. Tv cable was out. There was mold on the fans in the Lani. Landlord to respond with a few hours after we called him. I rate this house and the location with three stars that being said it is over priced for what you get.

Very Accommodating

Home was very homey. Was perfect size for 3 of us and 2 dogs. Loved the privacy fence for the dogs and the patio was very nice to sit on while it rained. Owners also really helpful and quick to respond.

Port Charlotte Duplex

We had a comfortable 2 week stay and had most everything we needed. Although we were comfortable with 3 family members we wouldn't have been if the rest of our family would have come like they were supposed to. Could have used another chair in the livingroom space and another TV in one or both bedrooms. We also had discussed using bikes but when we arrived there were none. We did find free bikes through the Wellness program in Punta Gorda at the Four Seasons Resort Hotel. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay for the 3 of us.

This place was very peaceful and also have a linar in the back that was comfortable threw out the today and at night to sit out there to talk and drink and play a low sound of music no one bother us at all . I will rent again . great hospitality

2 day business trip

The place is really clean and convenient. It is pey friendly but our little dog escaped under the fence. So be aware of this if bringing a small pet. The landlady communicates well and often. We will definitely book here again.

This property was perfect in every way. The proximity to Punta Gorda where my sister lives was super easy. The place was very impressive, relaxing, and accommodating for us and our fur babies. We feel blessed to have found this place for only a two night stay and last minute. Hope to return again!

Great Stay

We loved this rental. It was just what we needed. It was close to Warm Mineral Springs and about 30 minutes to the beach. Plenty of places to eat. The place was clean and safe. I would definitely stay here again.

We were in a good spot to take our dogs to the Dog beach in Venice, & go to the beach at Bocoa Grande , We met friends in Punta Gorda for dinner ! Very nice duplex, comfortable With fenced yard for our fur babies !
