Shirt stay

The property looked exactly like pictures, clean and organized. The only issues we had were there was a smell probably due to an older building by the water; and our beach access was taken away on the 2nd day due to hurricane damage so that was disappointing. Great location love Manasota!

Lovely Pet Friendly Property for All to Enjoy

I loved that Scot always answered my inquires and crazy ques right away. They are lovely hosts and I did appreciate all there help and kindness.I was not quite aware of the poor shape of the area and esp the beach front most Milton. But that is to be expected. The path to the beach was not well marked and so we got yelled at for crossing over via the Condo area but a disgruntled man there. My mistake.The cottag apt was nice and updated and WELL decorated. The stairs need to be refinished due to wood aging. The only issue for me was the threshold from the living room to the kitchen was about 1/2 inches too thick and wide, and was not updated and my 81 Mom tripped twice and myself as well over that threshold and the one leading to the bathroom too. It was very very dangerous and a falling risk for sure. PLEASE fix it ASAP!NOTE: The property is good for pets but I will not be able to go there again due to the fact that I have terrible Mold allergies and the mold that was blowing from the hair vents was thick and black and I spelled it upon arrival. It was a lot for us. I was devastated and grateful to be there at the same time for a quick weekend.Only 1 place to eat and the others were so crowded and had NO parking due to them using a food truck post Hurricane so it was too bad. Public beaches all shut down too.No dishwasher so be prepared to clean on you time off so that was no biggie. All and All it was a nice getaway and a sweet place to stay.

Great mini vacation!!!

Property was very clean and welcoming. Lots of extras that we were not expecting (boogy boards, beach chairs, sifters, umbrella). The beach is just a short walk away from the property. Kitchen stocked nicely and beds were super comfortable! Property owner was very responsive when I had questions. Will definitely be staying again.

Family Holiday Getaway

The unit was very clean and pictures were accurate. Had some beach supplies which helped chairs etc. only down side was the stairs to the beach I am not sure if a section of the stairs was missing but the bottom few steps were not there making it a 3’ drop into the water. Did not work well for someone who couldn’t jump down or climb up which was our case. We went a short distance to Middle beach which is nice but very crowded for the Memorial Day holiday. We did find an access a little further down one of the other renters told us about and used that on the other day and that worked perfectly. Overall great stay and would recommend just beware of beach situation.

Where’s the beach?

We chose this rental because it was advertised as being 250 steps to a private beach. The property itself was clean, keyless entry was awesome and it was well equipped. There was only one problem. We weren’t able to find the beach access. We contacted the owner, they told us we needed to walk down the road until we came to a blue building on the right and a stockade fence on the left. We should follow the fence down to the beach. This walk was approximately 1/2 mile. No 250 steps! We then learned that there was an access code to get to the beach right across the street. This was never disclosed to us when we rented. Upon request, the owner gave us the code and said that it shouldn’t be too bad during low tide. We went to check our access only to discover there was caution tape across the top of the steps going down and no beach. Needless to say, we tried to make the most of the situation and walked our 1/2 mile to the beach. On one of our last days as we were walking home from the beach a woman approached us in her vehicle and accused us of trespassing on private property. I tried to explain that we were renters and this is where we were told to go to gain access to the beach. This made for a very uncomfortable situation. I did mention to the owner that we were disappointed but there was no mention of any type of compensation. I did notice that the property is now advertised as having a 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s helpful to others but it’s too late for us.

Great olace

This was a great place to stay for our first trip to Manasota Key. The location was far from restaurants or activities so we drove to everything (we just didn’t know the area). The beach is a short walk across the street but the beach is small and tide stayed high. The condo was very clean, no complaints there at all. I will say the listing says it’s recently renovated but in 2020, so the wear is starting to show again. Either way, we recommend this place for a couple or small family. The owners were responsive up front and we needed nothing during our visit. Manasota Key is a great place to visit and I am hopeful we will be back!

Wonderfully equipped beach apartment

The property is absolutely beautiful, very vibrant and clean. Each unit has a nice outdoor seating area and under utilized bbq area with outdoor games. Its a short walk from the amazing beach access, approximately 3-5 minute leisurely walk. My family absolutely loved the beach and the unit was incredibly comfortable and decorated lovely. We would absolutely come.back again!

Cozy Place Close to Beach with Personal Touches

Great little cottage location close to beach! Super cute finishes and comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for a perfect birthday weekend. Host was great at communicating and helped with everything needed. Loved the outdoor showers and swing and fire pit.

Perfect Accommodations and Location

Very well appointed space. Everything we needed to relax and enjoy beach time. Close enough to enjoy spring training baseball and plenty of beach time. Kitchen has everything needed as well. Clean, comfortable perfection. Plenty of restaurants/bars close by and free rides to them with "Stumpy." But don't forget to tip for the ride....Short walk to private beach area. Loved it.
