Wonderful place to be based for a trip to Ireland. Loved the private beach, the views of the lake, fishing on the lake, and of course the donkeys! Enjoyed lots of days out around Mayo and Sligo. Pretty location but a bit far from town. 10 Euro each way to Uber. Walk to town thru Westport House was nice but wouldn't do it at night. Wish they had a gym and self service laundry. Parking overnight across the street was much easier than behind the hotel. Breakfast room was beautiful and staff ...
