Perfect for families, enjoy 5 bedrooms, 3 baths (1600 sq ft) with all the comforts of home. Built in 2018, the open-concept main floor boasts cathedral ceilings, abundant light, and deck access via French doors from the kitchen & master. Downstairs offers 2 more bedrooms, bath, laundry, kids' playroom & family room – all with incredible ocean vistas!

3km from L B R (Lower Barney’s River) Gas Bar NSLC (Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation) & Variety Convenience Store. Also, located is Your Place Eatery Food Truck

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

-No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host
-Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property
-If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair. Any damage to property furnishings which exceeds deposit amount will be billed to the guest
-We want all of guests to be respectful of neighbours, and shall keep noise to a minimum while in back or front yards. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require guests to forfeit the remainder of their stay and immediately vacate the property without a refund
-Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited animals. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help
-No smoking – also don't discard your cigarettes in the house trash cans. They get stinky
-No eating of food in bedrooms
-Remove your shoes whilst indoors
-Indoor furniture is not be be re-arranged or used in different spaces
-Recycle – trash will not be collected if we don't recycle properly. Please follow the instructions on recycling from Pictou County at the back of this booklet and located on the fridge
-Keep all windows and doors closed to reduce mosquitoes inside and to conserve electricity (the heat pump is set automatically to warm or cool the air)
-Please be mindful of the heat –Turn off thermostats if not needed
-Please do not flush anything but toilet paper
-Please be conservative with water as we run on a well. Short-term accommodation #STR2526A8206

Our family had a wonderful time in Ponds at Charlotte and Lee’s home! The house had lovely views, and was beautifully decorated with a lot of space for our family of 8. Being right on the beach was perfect for all of us. The hosts were helpful and responsive. Thank you and looking forward to visiting again!

We stayed at Lee's home for a glorious week. My husband and I, our three adult children, our son-in-law and our 5 month old grandson. This house is set up so that it is as easy to be together in a group as it is to have alone time. We picked blueberries down the road, walked the beach every morning, played in the ocean, watched for sunsets, had a day trip to Antigonish and family game night every night. It was a beautiful house whose pictures couldn't even do it justice. Thanks Lee for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful property with incredible views. The house was perfect with everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Our second time visiting this beautiful home overlooking the ocean. We were so happy to experience the long walks on the beach and meals on the deck overlooking the stunning sunsets again! This cottage is gorgeous- exactly as depicted in the photos online. It would easily accommodate 2 families with 5 bedrooms, three full bathrooms, 2 family rooms. It is so tastefully decorated and welcoming. The views are spectacular, the beach just steps away, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, campfires, lots of local sights and activities- just a great setting for a family vacation. If you can, plan your next vacation here.

This property was exactly as described and the photos accurately reflect the condition of this home. The views from the deck and the great room are awesome - we enjoyed stunningly beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The home is beautifully appointed, modern, clean and spacious. The only amenities I recommend be added are a bbq (an indoor grill just doesn’t measure up) and a hot tub to further enhance the experience. On balance, a fabulous vacation experience.

Bright, spacious, well-kept home on the ocean. If you are looking for a tranquil, ocean vacation with all the modern amenities of home this is the rental for you. This property is about 30 min from groceries and restaurants, which is part of the charm.

My friends and I are always looking for a house overlooking water when we go on vacation together. This did not disappoint. The house was immaculate! The views were breathtaking. We spent more time just relaxing at the house than sight seeing. Definitely a great home to get away in. The Wongs were also extremely hospitable with answering all of our questions and checking in on us. Definitely would love to be back!

The property and home are absolutely stunning with the views of the ocean. Communicated a few times with Lee via email and always had a responded quickly. The house was very clean and have everything we needed except for a bbq, but was told that by Lee before renting. The house was in a great area, talked to a few of the neighbors and they were all very polite and friendly. Love thi property and the location and would definitely rent again. Lee was so easy and very nice to deal with and I recommend anyone should rent this place if they love great views and a beautiful home. We rent every year in Nova Scotia and definitely will be returning in the years to come. Thanks Lee and Charlotte for the beautiful home for the week.

First I need to say that although the pictures are great they do not prepare you for the real life experience. It is even more amazing in person so the 4 rating for accuracy of listing is a bit cheeky! The minute you are at the door you get the sense of what is to come. The home is spacious and welcoming yet feels intimate. There is plenty of room for friends and family to be together and have their own space. Everything you can think of has been taken care of. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in because you remain part of the group and there are beautiful views wherever you turn. Lee was responsive to my questions and helpful prior to arrival. Not a morning person not so did see every sunrise but stopped every evening to catch the fantastic sunsets! Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise.

We had a great time on our vacation at this location. We were very happy with the accommodations and property, as well as very pleased with how well equipped the home (and, in particular, kitchen) was. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The only thing we missed having for our time there was a BBQ, and the family who joined us would have found a simple high chair a nice convenience. In all it was an enjoyable vacation and we will definitely consider returning.

The short version is that this is a spectacular find, just as advertised. Spacious, modern, and immaculate. In less than 3 minutes you can get from the full-width deck down to the beach through a cut in the cliff. There is a big lawn in front for games with the kids, and also a stone fire pit - in mid-July we had no issues with insects, day or night (don't know if this is normal not). Lee, the host, although not on site, is fine, very friendly and accommodating. We would be trying to book for next year, but with the lifting of COVID travel restrictions, another part of our family group will be able to join us, and we will have outgrown the capacity of the house.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous oceanside getaway. We enjoyed the spectacular oceanview and sunsets, as well as the easily accessible beach below the property. The house is lovely, spacious and well equipped, and there is lots of outdoor space to enjoy. The owner and property manager were so friendly, kind and accommodating, they made our stay so comfortable. A terrific experience, we are already planning to come back next year!

Loved the beautiful ocean views and gorgeous sunsets! Enjoyed our daily walks on the beach just steps away. Well equipped kitchen and beautifully decorated home with all the amenities! House is a great layout for families with teenagers/young adults with basement family room with walk out to huge lawn for playing sports. Lee was so helpful in answering all our questions before we arrived and touched base with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you to Lee and Charlotte for sharing your summer home with us - we could not ask for a more perfect place to self isolate for 14 days!
