"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. "This property is amazing. When we pulled in I thought the buildings exterior looked dated. But Karen checked us in, showed us where our room was, showed us the closest parking and access door to our room. She was very accommodating. First, every little nook is an art gallery. "I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at the hotel. Honestly I did not expect much when I booked it. But everything exceeded my expectations. Room is clean, spacious and quiet. The location is convenient. The services were excellent. The front deck lady went above and beyond to accommodate my request for room change. Breakfasts were excellent with good choices of variety. I will definitely stay here for my next hiking trips."

"We really liked our stay here! It was a convenient location and a quiet area. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools and we loved the giant hot tub! The outdoor games like cornhole and connect four and the small playground kept the kids entertained in the evenings. The nightly s’mores was enjoyable also! Room was clean. Breakfast was a grab and go and had cereal for the kids, bacon egg and cheese bites were good, some breads and pastries, yogurt, etc.. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!"

"The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!"

"Our stay at the Amigo was lovely. We were in Salida for two nights and absolutely loved the Amigo. Our room was clean and in perfect condition. I love that we had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths. There was always someone available to help with anything we needed. Love the fridge and fan in the room too. Sheets could have been better. Bamboo sheets on Amazon are fab! We will be back for sure!"
