"The Fredonia is the best place to stay in Nacogdoches by far! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were robbed of all of our luggage on our way from Houston and upon our arrival, the front desk staff provided all 7 of us with new tooth brushes, toothpaste, dental floss and deodorant for free. They also gave us vouchers for a free breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean with great entertainment options. The restaurant was amazing with great food and fast service. "The walls looked freshly painted in the room. The carpet in the halls was dirty and musty smelling. It was okay to spend the night. It said they had breakfast but didn’t See anything there."

"The quality inn & suites in Lufkin Texas is poorly managed and not properly cleaned up to the standards of a good hotel. I stayed recently on may 18th 2026 and found ticks in the room by the shower and when brought up they tried to just kill it and not do anything about it..watch where you book..sometimes cheaper isn’t better."
