  • La Papalaya es una villa hermosa y convenientemente situada que combina lo moderno y lo tradicional. Una de las pocas villas de alquiler ubicadas en el campo pero a poca distancia (1 milla) a lo largo de un camino plano y cómodo hacia el centro de la ciudad costera de Puerto Pollensa (desde donde hay otros 300 metros a pie hasta la playa) y un breve paseo en bicicleta hasta Casco antiguo de Pollensa: la villa tiene dos grandes terrazas protegidas, una piscina privada con escalones romanos y una zona de barbacoa dentro de un jardín amurallado y siempre verde. Ambas habitaciones tienen sus propios cuartos de baño. La propiedad cuenta con aire acondicionado, WIFI, televisión del Reino Unido con el paquete Sky completo (incluidos los canales a pedido Sky Sports, Sky Movies y Kids), bicicletas con cascos, una PS3 con muchos juegos, chaquetas de natación para niños, una casa iPad con muchos locales recomendaciones, una cafetera Nespresso abastecida, Lego y muchos juegos de mesa, libros y DVD.

    La forma en que organizamos la reserva es con un depósito del 25% a pagar ya sea mediante transferencia bancaria del Reino Unido o con tarjeta de crédito, y luego el resto a pagar a la llegada, ya sea en efectivo cuando llegue aquí o mediante otra transferencia que se puede hacer hasta el día de tu llegada.

Loved the location just outside the town with a beautiful garden and pool. All in pristine order and with everything needed to be able to enjoy the holiday. The Lidl a few minutes along the road provided all the food required. Comfortable beds good shower in the room with the single beds. Washing machine and dishwasher made life easy.

Wir haben eine erholsame Woche zu dritt im März in der Villa verbracht. Das Haus hat uns vom Ambiente sehr gefallen. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte alles an Ausstattung, was wir brauchten. Craig ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber.

The villa was a perfect size for us (family of four) and was a mix of rustic charm and modern convenience.It was like home-from-home in that we wanted for nothing, all things appear to have been considered and supplied.The property and surrounding grounds are beautiful and very private. The pool was fantastic and so was the outside pool area generally, with space to sit for a morning coffee or afternoon beer. The outdoor bbq was perfect for cooking the amazing Spanish bbq food! Our host was brilliant and had provided lots of relevant information before our arrival. We were contacted the day after we arrived (evening arrival) to make sure everything was ok and they made sure to re-connect during our stay to make ensure was all in order.Would highly recommend and we would certainly stay again.

From the start, Craig was fantastic - quick replies to communication, always friendly and helpful. The villa was very clean and comfortable for the week we were there. It’s well situated with access to lots of things to see and do - but it’d definitely be slower without a rental car. There was a little noice from the road but nothing that stopped us from sleeping or enjoying our time outside. We’d happily return again in the future.

Wonderful Villa!

This was the most fabulous stay. All the amenities you could ask for - for all age ranges. Close to many beautiful beaches/ eateries and a very easy and efficient check in /out process. Just perfect! Highly recommend!

Really lovely private villa - very well equipped - comfy beds - quietest aircon - clean pool and outside beds. Perfect for the port and for Pollensa town - the market is a must as is a visit to Saint James Parish Church in Alcudia - great communication.Thank you for sorting out bikes for us and introducing us to a species of owl that we had never known about ! We would love to come back sometime .

A relaxing week away from the Covid madness. The owner Craig was informative, welcoming and accommodating. A very private villa, secluded and not overlooked. The villa truly has everything you could need.

Another wonderful stay in this beautiful villa, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Very comfortable villa, with all your mod cons you might need for your stay. Fantastic pool and location. Great for a peaceful stay / holiday. Such a perfect place to unwind and relax.Craig is a wonderful host, always at hand if you need him and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend this villa. And we will definitely be staying here again. Looking forward to the next one xxx

Beautiful property

Beautiful, clean and well stocked villa, with a great pool area in a brilliant location. Plenty on offer to entertain children from Lego to numerous tv apps as well as inflatables for the pool and bikes. Craig is a great host. An information booklet and a contact number are provided for any queries during your stay. We’d love to stay here again.

Excellent Villa

We had a lovely time staying at La Papylaya villa. The villa was in a great location with views of the mountains and we could walk into Puerto Pollensa. The villa had a lovely garden and swimming pool and was very well equipped. Craig was on hand if there had been any problems - which there weren’t. We would definitely stay at the villa again if we went to Puerto Pollensa

Lovely villa - perfect for young children

We enjoyed our stay at the villa with our 3 year old son. The host kindly set up a very sturdy pool gate which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The villa is well kept and we made use of all the facilities - WiFi, toys, water floats and washing machine. We will certainly come back again, perhaps not in September as the mozzies were horrendous!

Highly Recommended

Craig is a wonderful host, attentive and keen to fulfill all your wishes. La Papalaya has every amenity you could imagine. The rooms are very cozy and lovingly furnished, the kitchen has everything you need, the pool is inviting. The location is perfect for both sea and hiking excursions. The care of Craig and his team (before and during your stay) always makes you feel safe and cared for. If Mallorca, then with Craig!!

Happy times at Papalaya!

What a great week at this lovely homely and characterful villa. Really well stocked with everything one needed and beautiful art work that pleased us all. The bikes were a real asset when needing to nip to the local supermarket only a short ride away. Craig is an amazing host! All problems/ queries sorted immediately and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We did hire a car but believe the buses are brilliant and easily accessible. We all agreed we would love to return!

Wir waren vom 4. bis 11. Juli 2026 in der Villa La Papalaya und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Villa ist traumhaft gelegen, sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe und Herzblut Craig in dieses Haus steckt.Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Craig. Er war von Anfang an unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend und wir haben uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts bestens aufgehoben gefühlt.Auch Ceci war einfach großartig. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar, hat sich sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und war immer unglaublich freundlich.Ein großes Lob auch an Alvaro, der den Pool gepflegt hat. Er ist ein unglaublich herzlicher und sympathischer Mensch und hat uns jedes Mal mit einem Lächeln begrüßt.Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war die süße Katze, die uns regelmäßig besuchen kam und unseren Urlaub noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir haben sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen und werden sie sehr vermissen.Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass wir an zwei Tagen leider nur kaltes Wasser hatten. Das war aber zeitnah geklärt. Die Auffahrt ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber funktioniert wenn man es kann. Alles in allem können wir die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und jede Minute genossen.Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank an Craig, Ceci und Alvaro für die Momente!

Just back from a 2 week stay in this wonderful villa. It truly is a home away from home and far exceeded any expectations we had. Excellent pool, clean and well stocked with everything you need. Air con in bedrooms is perfect and the beds are so comfy! Craig is a fantastic host and is on hand should you need anything. There are bus stops just a few mins walk from the villa (with a bus turning up every 15/20 mins) so a car isn’t essential but I would recommend getting one if you can as does make it easier for larger shopping trips or if you have children etc and also as there can be a bit of a wait for taxis at busy times. Located just outside the main resort but not so far out that you are isolated, with shops and supermarkets just a 10 min stroll away and only a 5 min bus/taxi ride from the resort centre. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa again!

Lovely villa

We stayed here for 2 weeks, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and anything missing was provided willingly by Craig and Maria. The villa is abt a 30 minute walk to the seafront but all very flat, you need a torch for the last 3rd of the journey if you decide to walk home but if you decide to get a taxi it is 6 euro. The area around the pool is now grass not paved. Pool area not 100% private as just a few trees separate you from the land behind where people were working a couple of days but to be fair not many people around.

This is a brilliant property, cared for and managed by an exceptional host. You will see from the previous reviews that Craig is incredibly resourceful and helpful... We fully support those reviews. We had a few non-house related issues with flight delays and later a flat tire and Craig was supportive and very helpful with both… he had a mechanic with us within 30 mins to fix the tire which was very kind and a great relief. The house itself is perfect, it has everything you may need and more… and the beds are incredibly comfortable. If I were to nip pick, I wouldn’t say it is easily walkable to Puerto, it was so very hot when we were there and there is no shade on the first 15 minute stretch so not for the faint hearted and it is about 30 minute walk. That said the buses are great and easy and a bus stop only a short walk away from the house. We felt the photos didn’t do the garden justice, it is beautifully well kept and completely closed so you are fully in your own pretty space. We had a great stay and we were in safe hands with Craig. Thank you for a wonderful stay and all your help

A comfortable, private haven

From the start Craig is a fantastic and attentive host. After a small glitch (to our relief) trying to enter the wrong villa, we instantly loved La Papalaya with its good size pool, mature garden, well proportioned interior with local art adding a homely feel. It is far enough back from a fairly busy road for there to be minimal traffic noise but, at peak times, the crossing to the cycle path can mean a long wait. The villa is easy cycling distance from the edge of Puerto Pollensa or Pollensa town, that little bit further. Both locations are lovely so the villa is well placed whilst allowing a sense of escape and privacy. We loved our stay on Mallorca and at La Papalaya. Craig has gone out of his way to provide plenty of additional amenities such as bikes, pool toys, table tennis and indoor games, all of which enhance an already lovely place to base for the holiday. We can’t recommend La Papalaya highly enough and thank you, Craig.
