"We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded to a 4th floor pool view with balcony as apparently we had paid too much through Hotels.com for the garden hut. "We booked for one night and ended up staying 4. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. You are very close to the lake and restaurants and nightclubs with many to choose from. I would recommend staying at Vardan Resort. Not a 5 star resort but definitely a 5 star experience. "

"The map shows this in Pokhara, it is across the lake and is only accessible via a 20 to 25 min small row boat. You have to call the hotel and get on of their staff to come get you or hire a boat to take you. It is NOT accessible by car. There are not 10 restaurants and bars, there is just the kitchen at the hotel. There is not A/C in the rooms. There are mosquitos and leeches, so take repellent and check yourself for leeches. "It was really good. This family run hotel is clean and very well run. Nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly, extremely helpful, they go that extra mile to ensure everything is as you want. Breakfast is also good and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel "
