Aspectos positivos: Limpieza
The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, and the manager was kind and quick to respond. Unfortunately, the furniture was very uncomfortable—the sofa was difficult to sit on and the beds weren’t any better. There were also an overwhelming number of rules, repeated in emails, a binder, and a pamphlet. I even had to strip the beds and take all the linens to the laundry room myself. I had to empty all trash and take it to the curbside trash can. I could not use the dishwasher. All dishes had to be hand-washed. But I had to pay a cleaning fee? The focus was more on enforcing procedures than creating an enjoyable stay.The listing emphasized quiet and respecting neighbors, one neighbor lit a huge fire on a windy day, and all the smoke blew directly onto the property. It showed a lack of consideration for guests. I was also told absolutely no pets were allowed, yet three cats and a neighbor’s dog regularly came onto the property, clearly being fed by someone. The contradictions were frustrating. I wished I had taken a video of the fire, but I managed to find a pic of the huge pile of wood. The size of the pile gives perspective to how much smoke we had to deal with. I booked four days and three nights but left after one night and one day because of the issues. The manager had been responsive until I provided the feedback he asked for—then I never heard back. I didn’t ask for anything, but an acknowledgment or apology would have been appreciated.
