The owners live at the property & have a big dog. I was contacted several times prior to arrival telling me about all the rules & all the things that I can't do & have to do. I was also contacted numerous times while we were there regarding the same. My confirmation stated that we were a party of 5. The owners told me that only 4 people were allowed. We were harrassed upon arrival. During the week the owner came into the unit on his own, peeked in the windows, asked what we were cooking, complained how we parked our car, asked what we were doing, stood outside watching us come & go, their big dog jumped up on our food when we were BBQ'ing in the backyard & the dog peed on my kayak!!

I had a great stay ... Thehouse was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I loved the location.. the proximity to the bay, the ocean, and Island Beach State Park. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Although this was not much of a problem for me who spent little time at the house, the shared backyard was the only downside. It is not well-kept or inviting, and I didn't feel comfortable about using it. I had a very enjoyable stay in Seaside Park as it is a very special place for me. I would rent again. Gracias!

We were very happy with our stay. The booking and arrival information was very easy and the owner contacted a week before to confirm and give us information. Everything was flawless. The home itself is an easy 10 minute walk to a great beach. The living room and one bedroom have air conditioners, the master bedroom does not, but it was kept cool with the door open and and an overhead fan. The one bathroom was perfect for our four person family. The kitchen facilities were very good and everything was in working order. We met the owners a few times and visited with them, very nice and gracious people. We will definitely be back.

This place was exactly as offered. It was great if you love going to both the beach and the bay, less than 5 minute walk to both. Owners are helpful for any needs you may have. I loved the enclosed porch in the front, spent hours in the morning and in the evening sitting out there with coffee/cocktails and reading. Bed in the master bedroom is extra firm so if you like something a little softer bring an egg crate with you, other than that, everything was great! Would definitely stay there again.

Good people we enjoy the beach the family very good time

We felt comfortable and content in this generously appointed home, and would definitely stay again. The main great room is a bit dark, but the front closed in porch gives a great place to sit and have your morning coffee in sunlight. No complaints at all. Its possible parking might be complicated during the summer months, so be sure to clarify that with the owners before hand.

I just came back from a weeklong stay at the property. Overall, it was a nice place and was stocked with most household necessities. The location was ideal for the bay or the ocean. My only concerns were the lack of AC in the master bedroom - you had to run the window unit in living room full blast to make it cooler in the bedroom. The claw foot tub was also difficult to get in and out of for my children and my older mom. There was a shower outside though that you could use. Also, the toilet takes a long time to fill and therefore you had to wait over 10 minutes to flush - with 5 of us and one toilet it was a little annoying. Lastly, the parking situation was bewildering. We were asked to move our cars (parked on a public street on more than one occasion) to accommodate the owners who chose not to park in their own driveway and wanted the spot in front of their house. It was more strange than anything else as we never had an issue finding a spot... also, my husband would have liked separate garbage cans as he felt he was always taking out the owners trash and recycling. Overall, it was a good value for the price but not sure we would return.
