-----GUEST ACCESS TO COMMUNITY-----
***MANDATORY COMMUNITY REGISTRATION & FEES***
• Arrowhead Lake Community charges all guests age 6 and over MANDATORY FEES for access to community and use of all amenities (regardless of if you use the amenities or not).
• To gain access to the community, the community requires all guests to be registered. The community requires you to provide your email address (needed to receive QR code for gate access), full name, address, phone, number of guests over/under 6yo and all cars and driver’s names (max 3 cars).
• These fees will billed separately after we complete your registration. Fees are charged separately as the VRBO platform currently cannot calculate number of vehicles and number of guests over age 6. Fees must be paid prior to check in. Fees are as follows:
--PEAK SEASON (May 24-Sep 2): Registration fee $20 PLUS $8.50 per person per day (over age 6) PLUS $20 per each vehicle for gate cards
--OFF SEASON (Sept 3-May 23): Registration fee $20 PLUS $2 per person per day (over age 6) PLUS the $20 per vehicle
• REGISTRATION WITHIN 3 DAYS OF STAY: If this is a last minute booking or if you do not submit all required registration info BY 5PM WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR STAY, the HOA charges an additional $100 fee for expedited registration which you would be responsible for!

-----OTHER THINGS TO NOTE-----
• THINGS TO BRING • bottled water (house has well water), coffee, milk, sugar, ice, s’mores supplies, bathing suits, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, sunblock, bug spray, sports equipment to play tennis, volleyball or basketball (some equipment can be rented at the Rental Shack in summer season then on weekends only through mid-Oct), fishing rods (PA fishing license needed—fill out online), kayak or canoe

• NATURE-Y THINGS • The chalet is located in a very rural, wooded setting. You may encounter wild animals (mostly deer), spiders, flying insects and more critters.

• BURN BANS • From time to time, the community may issue burn bans where firepits cannot be lit due to increased risk of wildfires (but you can use the BBQ gas grill). There is a $500 fine if you light a firepit during a burn ban.

• LAKE CLOSURES • Every once in a while, the community may issue a lake closure (usually after days of heavy rains) due to elevated bacteria levels. We have no control over this and cannot issue a refund if the lake is not available for use.

-----HOUSE RULES-----
• EARLY CHECK IN/OUT: We offer early check in/out options for a small fee subject to availability. Please inquire for more details.
• CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS: Please turn lights off, turn down heat/AC, close all windows, lock the door, bring trash to the community Trash & Recycling Center. Failure to remove garbage upon check out will result in a fine of $25/per bag imposed by the cleaners.
• RENTERS, GUESTS & MAX OCCUPANCY: All guests must be registered on the HOA registration form. Visitors are not allowed. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. No third party bookings (the booker has to be staying at the house, you cannot book on behalf of someone else). Home occupancy not to exceed 6 adults and 3 cars.
• IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION: Your stay will be immediately terminated without refund for violating rules on pets, parties, max occupancy, smoking and tampering with Wifi and security devices.
• PET VIOLATIONS: Guest will pay any additional pet cleaning fees as assessed by the cleaners.
• COMMUNITY RULES: Zero tolerance fireworks policy, guest will pay $500 fine. Zero tolerance burning a firepit during a community-wide burn ban (signs are posted at all entrance gates), guest will pay $500 fine. Quiet hours 9pm (Sun-Thu) and 10pm (Fri-Sat), guest will pay noise violation ticket. Speed Limit is 15 mph unless otherwise posted, guest will pay speeding ticket.
• FIRE SAFETY: Gas grill, electric range and wood burning firepit must be used responsibly and attended at all times. If propane tank runs out, you can refill or exchange it nearby and we will reimburse you. Firepit must be extinguished fully. Smoking, vaping, candles and incense are not allowed in the house or on the deck.
• SEPTIC PRECAUTIONS: Please do not flush anything besides human waste and thin-ply toilet paper. We provide septic-friendly toilet paper. Never flush down any drain: cooking grease or oil, baby/wet wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, condoms, dental floss, diapers, coffee grounds. This can clog the septic and will result in add'l fines.
• OWNER’S BELONGINGS: All items in the home are the property of the owners.
• DAMAGE FEES: Renter is liable for any and all damage to the property during their stay. All damage must be reported immediately to the owner. THANK YOU.

Worth the trip!

This cabin is worth the trip if you’re planning on staying here. It’s so beautiful, the pictures capture the cabin perfectly. The host was very easy to reach and provided clear instructions. They provide quite a few things in case a person forgets to bring with (I.e. toothbrush, paste, etc). They supply wood for bonfire which was so nice. It’s very quiet the area. Only thing is the location is a bit far from things but it’s perfect if you want to unplug from things and enjoy the view of nature and mountains.
