Serene Lake Front Cottage With Dock… Walk to Road America

Do you like tranquil, peaceful and serene? Don’t miss out on our lake front house. Huge windows with lake views and lots of natural light. Walking distance to Road America. Relax by our outdoor fire pit. Fish, kayak or swim within 900 ft of the driveway. Enjoy our game room with Pac-man console or play corn hole. Quiet and relaxing but minutes to the Kettle trails and Historic downtown Elkhart Lake. LAKE FRONT HOUSE IN WALKING DISTANCE TO ROAD AMERICA WITH FUN ACTIVITIES ALL YEAR LONG INCLUDING NEW DOCK AND KAYAKS.

You can go to the races at Road America (which is just down the street), enjoy sitting in our all season room with lake views, relaxing by our fire pit, grill out, boating, fish in the lake right out front (Bluegill, Bass, Trout, Walleye and Pike), swimming, hike the Kettle Moraine or Ice Age trails, play golf at one of the many nearby courses, or play Pac-man in our game room! Our house has it all!

Enjoy the beautiful views of Little Elkhart Lake from the living room with huge floor to ceiling windows letting in lots of natural light and also from the dining area. Lots of flowers and trees so you can enjoy your privacy! Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with a queen bed and one with a two twin trundle bed (twin bedroom picture isn’t updated but it has two twin beds in it now…. New pictures to come). Downstairs is the third bedroom with a queen bed. The downstairs living room has a full size pull out couch, dart board, Pac-man, board games, tv and also toys and books for kids. The house has a big private backyard with fire pit, charcoal grill, basketball and corn hole! Large kitchen with all the appliances, utensils and dishes you need. There is an all season room that has a table for the adults and also one for the kids. That room can open on all sides so you can just sit there and enjoy the lake view and the Wisconsin air. We also supply all essentials such as coffee and tea, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. Downstairs has a washer and dryer. Cozy up next to one of our 2 gas fireplaces that turn on with just a flip of a switch. Our cottage also has a detached 2 car garage. Very close to historic downtown Elkhart and downtown Plymouth. Swimming and watercraft and fishing can be done right out front using our dock and also have two Kayaks for use. You can also use the public boat ramp on the lake for any larger motorized boats which is less than half mile away.

House is on a hill overlooking the lake so there are about 35 steps to reach the front door so please be comfortable with that.













We have a 25 dollar fee plus shipping or replacement cost if you take our keys home with you. If we need to rekey the locks it’s a 50 dollar fee.
We have a 250 dollar cleaning fee for smoking inside the house.

Great lakeside home, very well furnished & provided. Enjoyed coffee in the morning. We were working a race at RA & only spent the night hours there. Wish we had more time to spend.

Communication was excellent and check in was a breeze. The view of the lake and fall colors was stunning and the home is so cozy. Easy access to hiking/restaurants/breweries/pumpkin patches. We hope to go back every year!

Cottage was perfect. We were racing at Road America and the cottage is about 5 mins away. Property owners were very helpful with recommendations and quick to respond. Overall a great experience.

This property provided the essentials to make travel easy: toiletry dispensers in the shower, kitchen utensils/pots/pans, coffee + coffee maker, condiments, extra blankets and pillows, and toys for the kids if you have any in tow. Nice add-ons included: use of the garage (great for us with our kayaks and swimming stuff), board games/game table/dartboard downstairs, fire pit. The listing is a bit deceiving, though. Although this is a great fishing spot, swimming cannot be done at the property with all of the lily pads/muck in the bay. You can walk down the street, drive to nearby beaches, or boat into the lake to swim. Since swimming access was the main reason for booking this property, it was really disappointing to not have an easy swimming area out front for our little kids. But, it was a prime spot for kayak launching. Also, the neat little bunk area in one of the bedrooms pictured with a ladder in the listing was not accessible. It had a locked gate. Again, a big bummer for our kids. If you are in the area for Road America events (we were not), the location is pretty great. The property is near the main gate, just under a mile away. You can actually hear the cars all day, which was neat.

This house is a very good place to spend a weekend away from the city. Beautiful view from the large window in the living room. We found in this house everything what we need for a weekend. Comunication with the property manager was easy and he responded very quickly.
