"***Caution***when I booked this hotel I looked at the pictures for another hotel 20 min away with the same name that is right next to the D-Day museum. This one is not! This is a small fishing town with a fish market. Terribly confusing and felt like a bait and switch. Hotel room does not have AC so you need to open the windows. The staff is very friendly, no issues there. The room had a strong musty/mildew smell that would only go away if you opened the windows. However, if you leave open...

"My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area."
