This amazing home will truly make for a memorable vacation!
This spectacular one-of-a-kind home was recently remodeled in 2016 into an awe-inspiring 6 Bedroom, 8 Bathroom luxury home over 3 levels, sitting directly oceanfront on a cliff perched 100 feet above the pacific Ocean.
Each bedroom features its own full bathroom, high end beds/linens, and spectacular décor and finishes with AC and ceiling fan.
The sprawling grounds are complete with amazing garden areas, including a private landscaped walkway down to the ocean.
The property boasts several different private decks on all levels including a private yoga/massage deck that sits perched above the waves directly in front of the ocean. The beautiful infinity edge pool will leave you more than refreshed as you take in the truly breathtaking 180 degree views above the waves, beaches, coves and estuaries of gorgeous Playa Flamingo!

The kitchen has been designed for the discerning food lover, with Professional stainless equipment, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, gas cooktop stove and wine cooler.
The huge entertainment room with ample seating areas is a space that seamlessly blends from indoors to outdoors. (open concept)
The outdoor kitchen area boasts a large gas grill where you can prepare your days “catch”. Relax on the sunset terrace, enjoy the sundeck on your chaise lounge or just take a seat and overlook the infinity pool as the picture perfect sunset spectacle happens daily. Nature abounds around Casa Frisons including monkeys, birds, iguanas, butterflies, and even whales in season!

The property features 1 bedroom on the main level, three bedrooms on the 2nd level, the master bedroom on the top level of the home as well as a completely detached guest suite for a total of 6 Bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The living area and kitchen area located on the 2nd level of the home as well as the large deck and pool area. Another unique feature of this home is the courtyard meditation area with a beautiful cascading water feature.

While all of the bedrooms in Casa Frisons are amazing, one stands above the rest. The Famingo Penthouse Suite is the crown jewel of the home located on the top (3rd) level of this property. Perched above the pool, the master suite will drape you in luxury with your own private terrace and floor to ceiling views as well as your own TV/sitting area…truly spectacular!

For those seeking privacy—or a truly perfect oasis for a honeymoon, "the Cabane" located closest to the ocean offers the most private setting (completely detached from the main home). The cabane, with its indoor/outdoor shower in the jungle, will leave you coming back again and again.

This property was made for large groups —couples travelling together, families, girls retreats, corporate and yoga retreats, family reunions and wedding (on request only with an additional cost starting at $1000)! Casa Frisons is the perfect location for your next getaway.

Casa Frisons was incredible and a fantastic place to stay overlooking Playa Flamingo! The views of the ocean, beach and sunsets were spectacular! The pictures don’t do it justice! Bilitis was the perfect host and very responsive. The rooms were all very spacious with high-quality furnishings and bedding, but the infinity pool and outdoor areas were the highlight. Benjamin and the cleaning staff were great and made sure everyone was well taken care of. All in all, it was a 10 out of 10 and we were sad to leave.

This house is an absolute must stay if you are planning a trip to Costa Rica. Me & my group of 14 young adults stayed for a week & it was absolute paradise down to the last drop. The home is exactly as advertised & so much more, with an amazing infinity pool overlooking the bay, lush landscaping surrounding you at every angle & picturesque views wherever you looked. The beach access is perfect for free diving & snorkeling, seeing puffer fish, eagle rays & so much more a mere 30 yards off the beach. Bilitis, the host, was so tentative to all our needs & was so overwhelmingly helpful planning all of our excursions, massages on the patio one afternoon, & the private chef meal of local Costa Rican cuisine. The house crew was also so very helpful with daily cleanings & tentative when it came to our shuttles picking us up for excursions or our day trip to Tamarindo. What more can I really say, this house is by far & away the best bang for your buck on Costa Rican soil & is an absolute must. Sincere thank you to Bilitis, Benjamin, our shuttle driver Johnny, & all those that made this trip so absolutely special. I will be recommending this house to all I know & will definitely be coming back sometime in my future. Pura Vida!

Fantastic Property (get the golf carts!)

This house was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by kind staff who walked us through the property. The property itself was spacious, clean, with amazing views. The pool area was a great place to relax. The small private beach was a cute spot to visit, but the main Flamingo beach, easily reachable via rented golf carts that the owner arranged, was perfect (few people, spots to eat, some shade, and amazing waves). Perhaps the warmest water I've been in. Bilitis (the owner) recommended great restaurants (once again easy to reach via the golf carts) and arranged a great boat tour for us. It was our first stop in Costa Rica and we couldn't have been happier.

Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Location

The house is in an amazing location with wonderful views of the ocean and Flamingo Beach. There was plenty of room for our family. Bilitis, the property manager, is responsive and very nice. The house is close to the beach, local area restaurants and the marina. Definitely recommend having a car or renting golf carts, which we did. Would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful house located on an amazing spot with an amazing view. Hard to capture the beauty in pictures.Even do is so close to Flamingo beach, when you get to the house, no one can see you, total privacy!!! No worry about neighbors.Second time staying in this house, and we can’t wait to go back. Love it!!

Beautiful place!!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Casa Frisons! Beautiful house and property with stunning views! Bilitis, the owner, was very responsive to any question or concern, and was so helpful in organizing activities and transportation for our group. We rented golf carts to get around locally, which worked out great. The groundskeeper, Benjamin, was wonderful as well as the daily housekeeping and laundry service. Amazing vacation!

Wonderful!

Our group of 4 adults and 4 teens had a wonderful time at Casa Frisons! The beautiful house has breathtaking views, plenty of room for everyone, great location, and we all felt very safe. Bilitis really goes above and beyond as a host. She set up our airport transfers, golf carts, met us at our arrival as well as departure of the home, and was easy to get a hold of if we needed anything during our stay. Having Benjamin at the front of the gated property was also such a great addition! We really enjoyed having our own privacy and space of a house, yet a short golf cart ride away from restaurants and shops. We look forward to visiting Casa Frisons again in the future!

Owner and Staff Were Awesome

I think we were an unusual group of guests--five couples ages 70 to 84. Bilitis was so engaged and patient with us to identify and book some activities that would be "age appropriate" and help us with restaurants, food purchasing, transportation, etc. as we worked with her for about six months on our plan. The group did a private sunset cruise and an estuary tour and lunch at Palo Verde National Park. The guys did a half day fishing trip and an ATV excursion while the ladies spent part of a day shopping and doing lunch in Tamarindo. Benjamin was always there to help with a minor repair or two, assist our group with exiting and exiting transportation as needed, keeping the grounds clean and orderly, adjusting air conditioners, etc. etc. while always maintaining a super pleasing attitude! Then the ladies doing the house cleaning were great! The views of the ocean and sunsets were fantastic, and the house was very comfortable and well equipped. We prepared fish we had caught for two dinners and had a chef come to the house for another dinner. We used a combination of rented golf carts and van transportation arranged by Bilitis for our travel needs. Playa Flamingo was a great location for our week. There is one improvement we would suggest for Casa Frisons, and this is, again, age-related. More handrails for steps inside and outside would be helpful.

Excellent Vacation!

Bilitis was very easy to work with! She was responsive to all my questions before and during our trip. She coordinated an excursion to the Celeste waterfall with rafting, massages multiple days for 10 people and a morning yoga session for our group. The location of this home is its best feature! You are close to restaurants, a small market, the marina and beach. We traveled with 3 families - 6 adults and 5 high schoolers for Springbreak. This was our second time to Playa Flamingo. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Amazing stay!

The house and property are even more beautiful than the pictures!! We spent many hours in the gorgeous pool and private beach. The sunsets from the house were breathtaking. Close to many wonderful restaurants and beaches which we used a golf cart to get to with ease. Host and staff were very responsive and made our stay extra special. Host arranged everything for us including a wonderful day on a boat. I celebrated a milestone birthday and they went out of their way to make it extra special. We hope to visit again!!!

A group of AIO family members traveled to Playa Flamingo to celebrate my BIG 6-0, and we had an unforgettable time in Costa Rica! Wonderful Family Vacation

When we came across the Casa Frisons listing, we thought it was too good to be true….over 100 reviews, all 10 out of 10. Well after our week there in January, this property deserves every 10 it received!The home, the views, the pool and the location all exceeded our expectations. With a party of 12, including a 1 year old, we had a few concerns regarding food shopping, restaurants and excursions. Bilitis answered all of our questions and it didn't take long to realize everything was just as Bilitis said it would be. I'd say golf carts are the way to go. We rented 2 and except for a trip to Tamarindo, no car was needed. We had a photographer and chef come in one night and it turned out fantastic. Our son got engaged that night, so it was a very special evening!Our excursions included horseback riding, fishing, a catamaran trip and massages and yoga at the house. The cleaning staff and Benjamin were awesome!You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!Pura Vida!

Bilitis's beautiful home is a real Costa Rican Gem! Our family of four stayed the week after Thanksgiving and it was the perfect get away. The house is very well appointed, everything you might need in the kitchen (lovely dishes, glassware and silverware) reliable WiFi, linen sheets, shower essentials, Nespresso machine, black out shades, games, beautiful collection of books, plenty of pool towels, beach towels, etc. She really understands the needs of a relaxing house stay and thought of everything. The sunsets from the property were spectacular and the views make it a perfect place to hang out all day. We even watched fireworks on two separate evenings. Bilitis is an amazing host, she organized airport transfer and a rain forest visit with Johnny IG - tamarindotropicaltravel who introduced us to Allan, IG - allan_tour_guide, at Spring Paradise to see amazing wildlife including Sloth, frogs, vipers and toucans. Allan even gave us iPhone photo techniques for capturing the wildlife up close. Bilitis organized Janet the masseuse, who came to the house for an incredible massage.
