"What a great room for the family! The grounds are pretty with unique plants. There’s no pool but it’s one street to the beach. The hotel has sand buckets and folding chairs to use. On Wed evenings there’s a street market two blocks away. Great restaurants everywhere. I loved the clean, fresh-smelling pillows and sheets."

"Was upset for the additional parking fee, but it was very convenient. My stay was for three nights, which I understand they don’t change sheets every day but I thought they would at least come in and make the bed and pick up dirty towels and take the trash out!"

"This hotel didn't have anything as stated in their description. The tub leaked, the bathroom facet was loose, and we had to ask for tools and shampoo. Our feet were black from walking on the floor. To get clean towels we had to give them towels to get clean ones. The pool is under repair and not available."

"As a family of 3 who are native to the area, have high expectations, and love San Diego culture and the ability to stay fit—— this place made us so happy !!! The location is everything with a walking trail/ lake nearby and a park!!! The gym was small but do able if you know a thing a or two. I was so impressed with the breakfast and LOVED the bed. The two bedrooms and kitchen were sensational and more than we expected."
