"This truly unique hotel has had a major makeover since we last visited 20 years ago. The rooms are looking great, and the staff are very pleasant, although service can be a bit hit-and-miss at times."

The room was spacious, and the bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable; I had the best night's sleep.
The view was spectacular, offering a perfect sight of the sea and the harbour inlet.

"Staff were really helpful and kind. Room was immaculate, bathroom was spotless and linens were high-quality and pristine. Bed was comfy, and some nice touches like local treats and toiletries. The breakfast was really good quality and reasonably priced.
Biggest downside is that the room was cramped— we were on a several-day trip, so it was hard to manage our large suitcases in the space. Would have also helped to have some more hooks or something to hang clothes and towels from.

"Olive was a wonderful and welcoming host--she helped with parking, which can be tricky. She also provided suggestions for restaurants which were close by, on the water, and very good. Highly recommend a visit to the Mariners Guest House. Thank you Olive!"
