"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."

"The hotel is lovely and cozy. Our room had some unique features, including a window in the bathroom that overlooks the bedroom. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar, which also offered games to play. This made it a wonderful place for a family stay. Thank you very much!"

"Fab location near to the port and beach. Fabulous bed and bedding. lovely size room. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not near to the 'shopping' end of town if that is what you are looking for. But defo worth a stay."

"Lovely friendly staff from the minute we arrived until we left. Living under the Heathrow flight path, the silence was wonderful. The only sound we could hear was seagulls and the occasional wood pidgin. Wonderful four day break."

"We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Summer lodge. We also enjoyed the beautiful walk around the area. We loved the food and the staff service. The short bread are delicious and I would love to buy more to have at home. We would return for another great stay. Thank you. "

"This hotel is situated in the idyllic village of West Bexington up from Chesil Beach and a great restaurant (The Club House). It was great value for money. The breakfast was particularly good and the location fantastic."

"Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return "

"Excellent central to the town good locatio Small car park. So limited spaces. But there is a town centre car park across the street, good fresh cooked breakfast. Bedrooms clean and fresh renovated, no big deal for me but if you need a lift, no lift! Stairs only "
