"Our only regret staying at the Waters was that we only booked one night! The setting and facilities were phenomenal, and our hosts took such good care of us. We stayed in the Granny Flat, so had our own little hideaway right next to the main building, giving us close access to the bar/lounge and spring, but plenty of privacy too. Had a fantastic full breakfast, and stopped by the nearby Newtown Castle at the Burren College of Art for a visit. Would recommend very highly and would love to go...

"First place that have stayed out at that can cook evenly on both sides and present hot! Suggest any visitors down size their luggage, as stairs are narrow and steep Weather was HOT during visit yet was not informed how to - if could reach - the attic window to allow better air flow"

"My husband and I stayed at The Ardilaun for six nights and it was the one of the best experiences we've had when travelling. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The staff were very warm and hospitable. The Bistro Bar was my husband's favourite as he watched the World Cup games there while having a pint of Guinness. All in all, 10/10 for The Ardilaun for us! We would love to go back."

"Relatively spacious room with a nice bathroom and well-stocked kitchenette. You can tell the rooms are dorms converted to hotel stays for the summer — they’re spacious for a hotel but oddly devoid of much furniture, decor, or accessories. If you need a simple place to sleep without much fluff, this is a good option. It was a relatively far and slightly inconvenient walk to get to the city center and back, but overall still doable and worth it to save money on getting a car/taxi/etc."

"The toilet kept running all night, then ran out of water in the middle of a shower. Texted the property owner, who failed to respond. The staff at the coffee shop below was very nice, and they tried to help, but they did not get a response from the property owner either."
