"Loved everything about our stay. The valet was amazingly helpful and thoughtful. They made it easy and kept our car up front when we said we would be leaving for dinner soon. I would’ve loved an ocean view but I know it’s not always available. "

"Very nice heated pool area . Nicely shaded grounds with canyon setting . Easy walk on the path way down to alesio beach where you can get chairs and umbrellas at lost pier cafe showing your room key . Pricey restaurants on hotel site but the food was very good . "

"There was a glitch with our room but Samantha at the front desk was super helpful. She took care of the issue and gave superb customer service. The property is very nice and it has a nostalgic feel of an earlier time in California. We will definitely come back."

"I loved this motel. Front desk was friendly and knowledgable about things to do in Laguna with advice on directions and free transportation. The Tides Laguna was in walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants and Pageant of the Masters. I was upgraded to a second floor room which was spacious with a full kitchen and a quaint dining area with a full table and chairs and antique plates from various state on the wall. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the rooms were immaculate...

"Food was okay at restaurant. Yogurt with granola didn't have much flavor. The waffle was spongy and the breakfast burrito was a little bland. The bed was comfortable. The hotel would check in with me via text. I thought that was really good customer service. I can ask questions via text. Friendly staff. I would stay here again."

"Our stay was great. Room was clean and loved the rainfall shower head. The fold out bed was not comfortable at all. We have a fold out couch at home and the mattress is more substantial. That was the only thing that could have been better. "
