"Super quaint, peaceful, idyllic, historic Inn! Awesome location right in the middle of the Marblehead Historic District. We walked less than 5 min to dinner at The Landing and then to drinks at Maddie’s Sail Loft. Highly recommend! "
"Miss Chris was super helpful at check in and Adam was such a gracious driver- helping to get us to dinner on time! The hotel was perfectly decorated for the season and the suite was clean and comfortable! We were able to walk everywhere and felt very safe. Each person we met was very nice and helpful!"
"Great in between location if your visiting multiple spots in the New England area, we visited Salem and also Boston the train station is right across the street. It’s very easy to get around. The room was nice semi quiet, convenient location to a few different restaurants in a couple of coffee shops and then also the grocery store if you need to get food or other supplies."
"The location was perfect. Easy walk to main street and the harbor walk was just across the street. Easy drive to the Hammond Castle. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but fine. "Briar Barn is truly everything ne wants in a hotel stay- custom, fantastic staff, lovely extra ammenities (coffee, pasteries, water, great soaps/lotions). The best part for us was the comfortable bed, nice soaking tub and sitting in front of the fire in our private room on our 17th anniversay!! The entire site is thoughtfully decorated with antiques that intrigue, and the "bones" of Briar Barn remain new and contemporary- so refreshing!!! We will most certainly be back!"
