"I have stayed at the Marin Lodge hotel many times. I like that this hotel is tucked away with many trees, it's peaceful and pretty. It seems that they recently bought new little refrigerators that are more quite. I stay there almost once each week to get a break from my 1 hour (or longer) commute from Concord to San Rafael...so, I'll be back."

"I was visiting family in Sausalito, and this was just a short drive away. Everything was really good from checking in, the room, the bed, the water, shower pressure, the breakfast. Not one bad thing to say. Would definitely stay there again."

"The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful!!"

"I stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights for a hikingtrip, the mattress looked really dirty on the sides, furniture is really worn out and it seemed like prostitutes use it for their hookups. There was loud sex coming from almost every room surrounding us to the point where we had to sleep with the TV on all night so we couldn't hear them, moaning and throwing up from drinking too much. Super uncomfortable that my daughter had to hear this stuff. Breakfast was pretty lame for the amount of...

"Soundproofing a problem - from above & either side."

"A favorite"

"They don't have coffee makers in the room. And you have to get one at check in and carry it to your room yourself. When I asked why, he said bcs they took a survey and people complained about having coffee makers in their rooms. So they took them out. Look, just don't gaslight me the moment I check in. You want to save money, I get it. But this was just flat out weird. Then I was asked of Amy email so he could send a receipt. I was told it wasn't for marketing. And I immediately started...

"We stay here every year for Halloween in SF and every year we are impressed with how clean the room is, how friendly the staff is, and how great the location is!"

"Really well located if you need to go to San Rafael. I was afraid of the noise (the 580 and the 101 are nearby), but turns out the sound proofing was good. To the best of my knowledge, there was no breakfast, but you can easily get something from Burger King or any of the gas stations within a 5 minute walk. Very good amenities (fridge, microwave, coffeee machine), staff very friendly. There were some food trucks a couple of minutes walk on the evening I arrived, excellent tacos and burritos....

"Un lugar bonito enfrente de la marina cerca de restaurantes. Muy tranquilo y lindo."

"Good location but Old buildings, as it was a former army base. Hotel did a good job with modernizing the inside of the rooms as much as possible, but the exterior of the buildings still resemble drab, uninspired base housing. Grounds were kinda dumpy. Staff never offered valet or help with bags to the room. View of the golden gate made it nice (but clean windows to enjoy the view would have been nice as our windows were very dirty and stained with god knows what) Overall for the price, was not...

"only negative was coffee maker - terrible"
