"This is a great and charming hotel. It looks a bit dated in the outside, but the facilities are great, specially the spa and food services. The town is small with great views of cliffs if you walk to the west. Lots of little shopping. The beach isn’t a plus as it’s rocky, but hotel has nice swimming options."

"Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all night!"

The breakfast and evening meals were superb and we did enjoy having a freshly cooked breakfast brought to our table rather than a buffet style self service where the food had been hanging around. The overall impression was of happy staff creating a pleasant atmosphere"

Our bedroom was comfortable, just no hairdryer at present. There was an issue with the heating while we were there but this was solved with a portable heater till it was fixed. Met two other lovely couples (only three rooms), we joined up for a great evening of quizzing, we came second!! Also have other entertainment throughout the week. Food...

Was only a 1 night stay to meet some friends, however I became ill overnight and felt really unwell in the morning and couldn’t stomach breakfast but they gave me water and offered anything they could to make me feel better. The staff were really kind and helpful and made sure I was ok before checking out.
