"We thought we were going to be staying in the castle but ended up in the garden room. the room was nice but had a very small uncomfortable bed. this should have been explained upon booking and we could have upgraded. The staff and breakfast was excellent!"

It was difficult to find the valet every time I needed the car and, on the first day that I was seated for the complimentary breakfast, no server ever came to my table. "This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom. "

Would certainly stay again, there is only 6 rooms & all up stairs so wouldn’t recommended if any difficulty with walking as no lift. "My second time staying. This time the sweet had a beautiful expanded and modern kitchen. However, virtually no dishes, pots or pans and no cutlery. Needless to say it was a beautiful kitchen, but not as much use except to keep things in the fridge. Manager should at least add some cutlery."

"The building looks lovely from the outside, however there was some niggling problems, no staff to meet and greet or issue keys and rooms, just email instructions to use door key fob for access to the building and rooms, quite steep stairs especially for us who struggle with stairs, in my room, the toilet seat was loose to sit on, single bed wasn't very comfortable and duvet barely covered the bed"
