Seasonal rental on Bocilla Dr, contemporary beach home with private pool and spa. This home includes a private dock . This is the ultimate home to spend your vacation with family and friends. There are 3 bedrooms and an office with a trundle bed which can be used as a 4th bedroom. Split floor plan, and the master suite has its own private patio and full bathroom. The living room, kitchen and dining area are an open space with extensive water views. The pool can be heated for an additional charge. This is the perfect get-a-way for the family and extended family to enjoy our beautiful island. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit. PLEASE RESPECT THAT THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED. There IS a charge to heat the pool due to island cost/Pool Heat Fee is $100.00/week. Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book!

Exceeded expectations

Clean and well maintained property. Just as described. One of the nicest properties that we have been to on the island. The pool is one of the best we have seen at a house on the island. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The house itself is large, clean, and has great views. Check in and check out were a breeze. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time!

We stay every year on Palm Island. This was the first time we have rented this home. We absolutely loved it. The location was great. The house was clean and stocked with pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen. The pool area was wonderful, as well as the dock for us to park our boat. My only suggestion would be maybe a couple of upgrades to the showerheads in the bathrooms. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Thanksgiving Vacation

Exciting Vacation!

This is our second time staying at the “Ohana” house and our 15th year in Palm Island. The “Ohana” house is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable! My favorite place is the living room, because the view of the water and the boats going by is priceless! This year we had the excitement of being in Palm Island during tropical storm/Hurricane Elsa. The entire time during the storm we felt very safe in the “Ohana” house. Our kids had a blast playing all of the games that were in the “game closet” and swimming in the pool during the storm. I can’t say enough about how Wonderful our stay was even though we lost a couple of days to the storm, we still had a Beautiful, Safe, and Very Comfortable home to stay in. Thank you to the owners and to Jim Luscumbe the property manager for being so accommodating and letting us enjoy the “Ohana “!

Beautiful and relaxing

I hesitate to even write a review Bc Palm island is so unspoiled I don’t even want to drive other people there. But, it’s just such a gorgeous old Florida spot with beautiful beaches and awesome boating. The home is really well equipped. The views are spectacular and lots of open space for family to gather. Will definitely be back.

Awesome vacation

The house was gorgeous with a nice view of the canal. The multiple sliding doors that go into the wall, allowed lots of light in the house. The house has modern appliances, it had everything and more we needed for an awesome get away. Jim, the manager was very helpful. We had an issue with the internet and cable that was addressed by Jim in a timely manner. We are planning to visit again next year
