Mountain Air Conditioning: Courtesy of Mother Nature! Just a heads-up, our cozy lodge does not have traditional AC. We rely on Colorado's natural cooling system – those gorgeous mountain breezes and cool nights. As fellow Texans, we totally get it, but trust us, you'll love trading the hum of AC for the sound of rustling aspens! Each room has a ceiling fan and plenty of windows to help you stay comfortable.

The house is situated on a private 35-acre property, offering full privacy and a peaceful retreat. There is a separate cabin on the property with a local resident who lives there year-round, but they are very respectful of your space, ensuring you can fully enjoy your stay

WINTER ACCESS: Throughout the winter, the roads and driveway are regularly plowed and maintained. However, we require using a vehicle equipped with 4-wheel drive, snow-rated tires, tire chains or tire socks for added safety.

Please note that our property is not equipped for handicap accessibility. The living space and rooms are located starting on the 2nd floor of the home.
