  • Unplug and unwind at The Cabin at the Cove. This cabin is the ultimate get away, from the covered porch, fire pit and wood stove, to the scenic views and cozy interior. This log cabin has tin roofs and will not disappoint. This cabin is off the beaten road but don’t worry, it has running water, electricity, and indoor plumbing. Even if your vacation gets rained on you’ll enjoy the covered porch with rocking chairs and porch swing. Enjoy time with family with a big open concept living area and spacious bedrooms.
    There is access to a private cove less than half a mile away where you can drop a boat in, fish, and swim.
    There is no WiFi in this cabin.

Very nice and secluded

The cabin is very nice in a secluded area. The Cove is a very short distance away.The cabin exceeded our expectations, and was very spacious.

Cozy Cabin

Quiet, somewhat secluded spot in the country that offers a pleasant stay for any sized group. Beautiful outdoor sitting and exceptionally clean open interior space not far from Lucas Oil Speedway and plenty of lake options for camping, swimming and fishing.

Well kept cabin with everything you could need, sleeps 2 couples well. Host was easy to work with and simple checkout procedure

Fishing Weekend

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking! The house was cozy and location was peaceful. We made s'mores and swam at the cove. Owner very helpful and responsive!

Peaceful Seclusion

Plenty of privacy beautiful cabin with all the amenities including an actual wood burning stove short distance from anything you might need stores gas stations Etc.Nic was an awesome host answered any questions promptly and thoroughly and respectful of privacy while we were there.THANK YOU NIC

Property was great! I was able to get in touch with the property manager timely very friendly. Nice little get away very peaceful. They also provided mosquito spray that was a plus!!!

A great get away

If you're looking for a relaxing get away this is your cabin! Out in the woods, pet friendly with space to run, full kitchen, fire pit, nice selection of family friendly dvd's for rainy days, and hiking in a state park near by. We will be returning for sure and telling friends to check it out.

Absolutely loved staying at this property. Very roomy and comfortable. I had one small issue with a strange smell in the bathroom and the owner was very responsive to help resolve. The cabin is tucked away on a backroad, which I enjoyed because it was quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the fenced in area for my dogs to be able to go outside and not be concerned about them wandering off.

The place was insanely awesome!! Only things we didn't like were it felt like the neighbors were watching us.. First night went back and forth on his utv 6 times... Coming from outta town just seemed off. Otherwise no complaints

Fun in the sun

Spacious cabin, with a very nice porch very nice and secluded property great stargazing The bathtub was a little slippery other than that we enjoyed absolutely everything about it and were able to spend some time at Lake Pomme de Terre which is a fast six minutes away.

Private & pet friendly

PET FRIENDLY! Great secluded location. Short drive to either side of Pom de Terre state park. Also enjoyed the private cove. Cabin was clean, air conditioners work well, propane grill available, also had a very nice fire pit.

Perfect secluded getaway

My fiancé and I wanted a quick trip away from the city where we would be able to take our dogs and this place was perfect! The area is quiet and private and there is a lot of space surrounding the cabin to walk and enjoy nature. The cabin itself is super cute and has everything you need! The host was super responsive if we had a question and checking in and out was easy. We enjoyed unplugging for a few days and would definitely recommend this place to others.
