Beautiful villa with outstanding attention to detail. So many little extras which was very much appreciated. Great communication with owner throughout. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Location fantastic walking distance to many lovely restaurants and beach. Pool amazing and spent a lot of time relaxing and swimming. Wonderful views and peaceful location.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the beautiful Villa Pheakon! It was our first time in Pissouri, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location with incredible views. Everything we needed was provided, and the communication from Denise and Pete was excellent throughout. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend the villa to anyone! Would definitely stay here again on future visits to Pissouri! Thank you again!

Villa Pheakon is brilliantly located with great views in an up-and-coming area of Cyprus. It’s well equipped, easy to find with dedicated parking, it’s also spacious and offers a high degree of privacy. The welcome guide is comprehensive, super-useful and on arrival we found milk, ham, cheese, wine and other essentials which we felt were a really nice touch, particularly given that there was nothing open when we arrived late at night. We made use of the facilities including the kitchen and the barbecue. The bathrooms have been refitted and are nicely finished. There are some parts of the property that feel a little tired; a couple of the dining room chairs where held together with sellotape, one of the air conditioning units was changed while we were there; another one in the front room was largely ineffective. There was also an issue with the pool top up valves not working correctly, and the water level being too low, this was also dealt with as part of the twice weekly routine maintenance at the property. The most concerning thing for us, however, was the presence of a cockroach in the kitchen cupboard, which I made Pete aware of. He advised that this is not unusual in hot countries and that the complex is treated regularly. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Cyprus and we found Pissouri to be a welcoming area, with lots to do and in easy reach of both Paphos and the Troodos Mountains.

Allt med det praktiska funkade jätte bra. Stort tack till Pete och Denise att de fyllde upp kylskåpet med frukost artiklar då vi anlände sent. Tack också för det fina födelsedags kortet och flaskan med Prosseco jag fick i 50-års present! Vi hyrde ingen bil men taxi service Loucas och hans son Nicolas funkade perfekt. Underbara människor. Det fanns det mesta vi behövde nere i Pissouri bay men större utbud uppe i Pissouri Village. Villan hade allt vi behövde och en underbar pool. Kommer vi tillbaka så hyr vi den igen. Pete och Denise har varit väldigt bra hyresvärdar!

Top stay in Villa Pheakon

It was the best location to stay meat Pissouri. Villa was comfortable, clean, modern and the owner reacted quick. We will come again… which is the best recommendation after a holiday!

A very private lovely villa

After a bug hiccup with the original booking due to a relationship issue, Pete was super supportive and helped me to move the booking to a future date. Arriving at the villa, it was clear this is a very private villa. Not overlooked in any direction. A wonderful outdoor space,, and open plan kitchen / diner / living room. Very good sized bedrooms, and very well stocked. A lovely welcome pack of wine, and food items like milk, bread etc was left as we arrived late evening. A very inique place is you want some privaxy. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants (about 5 mins). Will absolutely consider going again. Thank you!

Tolle, perfekt eingerichtete Villa

Die Villa Phaekon ist sehr großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen individuellen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Check-in Informationen, die wir von Pete und Denise bekommen haben, waren sehr ausführlich. Einen besonderen Dank für den gefüllten Kühlschrank, der spät ankommende Gästen wie uns einen gute Nacht Happen, einen gute Nacht Trunk und ein Frühstück ermöglichten, ohne vorher einkaufen zu müssen. Pissouri Bay ist eine perfekte Ausgangsbasis, um den Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Zypern in der Villa Phaekon sehr genossen.

We liked our stay in the apartement. Due to a communicated accidental breakage of a little item there was an extra bill at the end, which really exceded our expectations. Other than that, the villa can be recommended.

Eine sehr schöne Woche in Pissouri in der Villa Pheakon

Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet mit allem was man im Urlaub braucht. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen sondern nur zu loben. Wir haben uns wirklich wohlgefühlt. Einzige kleine Einschränkung ist die vorbeiführende Straße, die man nicht sieht aber hört. Dafür ist die Lage zum Strand und zu den Restaurants in Pissouri Bay perfekt, da beides ohne Probleme fussläufig zu erreichen, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Insgesamt haben wir Pissouri als idealen Urlaubsort empfunden mit einer sehr schönen Badebucht und dem alten Ortskern weiter oben mit ebenfalls guten Restaurants . Limassol mit vielen interessanten Möglichkeiten ist schnell erreicht. Bei unseren Gastgebern bedanken wir uns auch für den gut gefüllten Kühlschrank, der uns am ersten Abend bei später Ankunft sehr geholfen hat. Wir möchten gerne wiederkommen!! Kerstin und Rolf

A marvellous stay

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Pheakon. The villa is clean, light, modern and well equipped. We arrived late to find a very useful welcome pack which Pam, the local manager for the villa, provided. She popped in the first morning to welcome us and was always available to contact should there be a need. There is very efficient air conditioning (on timers) with the added bonus of ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well. The private pool was very clean and inviting and we enjoyed lovely morning swims. The sun did disappear by about 4 pm, but maybe this was due to our visit being later in the year. Excellent communications from the owners, Denise and Pete, who provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival and had also produced a comprehensive guide to all the facilities in the villa itself. Would recommend a car. A good time was had, many thanks. Val and Joe

Quiet and relaxing!

Great villa in a quiet village on the beach. The villa was very well equipped and the kids loved the pool. Reliable wi-fi for a few work calls. Will definitely be back again!

Hier gab es nichts zu meckern!

Das Haus ist sauber, modern eingerichtet und es ist alles an Einrichtungsgegenständen vorhanden. Die Lage ist Klasse! Der Strand und die Restaurants sind keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Einmal pro Woche war ein Reinigungsservice vor Ort, der Bad & WC gereinigt hatte sowie die Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt hat. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern ist schnell und unkompliziert. Die Erfüllung von Sonderwünschen ist durchaus Möglich. Denn wir wollten aufgrund unserer Landezeit am frühen Morgen einchecken, was uns problemlos ermöglicht wurde. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr gute Ausstattung in der Küche toller Pool

Sehr sauberes geschmackvoll und komplett ausgestattetes Haus. Die Küchenausstattung ist überragend. Der Pool und der Garten sind gepflegt und bieten immer einen Schattenplatz. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Wonderful stay at Villa Pheakon

We had a two week stay at Villa Pheakon and it was fantastic! There was everything there that you could have needed, all bases covered, home from home. The living accommodation was ideal with plenty of space. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and well tended. The pool and pool area were lovely and so relaxing. The lady who manages the villa was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back sometime soon I hope.

A welcoming and comfortable retreat

Apart from the odd bowl of cereal and the contents of the very thoughtful welcome pack, we don't really self-cater and, to be honest, some of the pans provided have seen better days so that might have detracted if we spent more time in. What we need in Cyprus is a comfortable base to come 'home' to and this ticks al the boxes - spacious, clean and well equipped. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a small patio with table and chairs, ideal for breakfast in the sunshine, looking towards the ocean. We did come in early one day and discovered the sun disappears around 1630 at this time of year but it's still pleasant to lounge on the main patio or by the pool. Slight detractors, some of the electricity cuts off when you take the house key out, which means re-setting the bedside clock at least once per day (takes seconds though), and there's no independent access to the garden which means you need to be around to let eg. the pool guy in twice a week. But he does come earlyish (not good for a lie in but ensures you get to the beach on time!). Pam and her team, very efficient, problem with kitchen tap, known and immediately resolved, and a good clean through about mid-term. I take nothing off for the building site on the hill directly opposite, which is just one of those things in Cyprus, albeit they did seem to be at the piling/Jackhammer stage for the whole of our stay, starting just after 7.00am! We were never in to take advantage of the large lounge/dining area or the comprehensive looking entertainment system, it was just delightful to sit on the patio with the garden lights and a glass of vino. So, we have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation, whether you like to stay in or just have somewhere nice to come back to. Noise from the building site could be annoying but, being Cyprus, it could be finished in no time, or drag on for a while - there's a bit of sensitivity over foundations at the moment due to a landslip in the village - but hopefully, once the piling is finished, it'll be a lot quieter.
