"This place was absolutely adorable. We loved the room. We stayed in the Enzo and Marguerite room. It was beautiful! We loved the outdoor area/patio. Very peaceful for. Being in town. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly especially the blonde lady at the front desk. My only complaints are the ice machine seemed to always be empty ( it was. Very small). And room service did not remake our bed nor restock coffee bar with clean cups, real sugar or filters for the coffee."

The rooms were smaller than many motels but I just assumed it was probably built a while ago since it is on the original Route 66 and people didn't bring as much stuff as we do today. "Chose this property due to its location to downtown. Reviews weren’t the best but the pictures of the room worked for a one night stay.. got to the property and they have no parking available.. was told I have to park on the street with metered parking. Get to the room and it was very small, but that wasn’t a big deal. Set my bags on the bed and open the door that was in the room to find out it was a closet. These rooms have no bathrooms. The guy at the desk told me that it’s common restrooms...

"Parking was surprisingly easy. Simply behind the hotel. Historic charm. We were place in the ADT room. Ground floor. On a Saturday night it was very quite. Everyone was very kind. Rachel (upstairs bartender) was outstanding. Only problem was the inconsistent hot water in our shower. Maintenence is on it."

"The property is run down and is in need of a major update. Our room was upstairs, which we were unaware of when we booked the room, and there is no elevator. The lobby smelled as well as our room. It smelled like old mothballs and chemicals. You can hear the train as well as traffic all day and night. The one positive is that you can walk to anything in the downtown area."

There was also an area of improvement regarding their maintenance team. They left their recently done projects unclean, with saw dust coating the floor and walls of the room. "It was a nice place with unique vintage decor. We only needed a one-night stay so it was too expensive for our needs. I definitely recommend going here if you plan to stay a couple of nights and use the amenities, but not for an overnight late check in when most ammenities were closed. There were also some maintenance issues that need to be taken care of such as the cracked ceiling and the water spraying out of the shower making the wall and floor wet."

"I don’t think I’ve ever had a more unique stay at this price point. This was so fun! The basics: room was clean. Bathroom spotless. Check in was easy. Great location. The above and beyond: The extra little perks are so fun. The complimentary drinks at check-in, the availability of bocci and cornhole, the hammocks, the outdoor gas fire pits, and the DECOR are all fantastic. Heart and soul was really put into this place.
