They were apprehending a criminal and told my husband and others to wait outside until they finished. A lot of armed police arrived. "The front of the hotel is very deceptive. When I drove around the back to get to my room it was disgusting. The parking lot was over grown with grass growing out of the pavement and had large pot holes. The room was gross. The air conditioner didn't work well and was full of dirt and dust. "We were visiting Rockford in June 2026 for my IronMan 70.3 triathlon event. Our group had little kids (age 7 & 4) and grandparents (70+). Checkin was very smooth. I dont recall the name of staff member to give a shoutout, she was very nice.
