This cabin is great in so many ways. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and it's always clean, quiet and a great place to stay. Very spacious for family and friends and so many things to do at the cabin and the surrounding areas. It's perfect for weekend getaways or any other event.

Great Family Rental

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed Al the little extras. Great ping pong, air hockey, basketball toss and pool table for the family. The layout of the home was just right for all of us. And the kitchen had spices and enough paper goods for our week there. That’s always nice. Great people to work with.

Beautiful cabin, super relaxing stay

This is a beautiful cabin, with thoughtful accommodations. All of the games available are wonderful, especially the pool table upstairs. Be careful of the grill, it does get super hot to the touch. Would gladly recommend this cabin for a vacation getaway in the mountains, very peaceful and beautiful. Super responsive host. Thank you for a great mountain stay.

Perfect, quiet family weekend getaway!

We were looking forward to a cozy, quiet yet fun filled family weekend. We got it at this property! We played in the snow, enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. We cooked in the beautiful kitchen and played games. I highly recommend this property, and hope to book it again sometime to escape the summer heat!!

Fantastic family get away

This home is beautiful, comfortable, clean and perfect in every sense. Derek was great with answering questions and providing the information we requested quickly. I'm not sure if I missed this in the listing, but we were delighted when we found the game was more than just the pool table in the loft... The garage had ping pong, air hockey and basketball game and it also had heaters which was needed in early Feb. Also to our delight, we found a pack and play for our 9 month old grandson and a high chair, which really came in handy. The gas fireplace was another lovely surprise, so we didn't have lug up wood and have that mess to deal with. All in all I highly recommend this home as it's perfect for a get away and can't wait to return.

Nice Property

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room and the pictures are accurate. Plenty of room for 11 people. But, there were some shortcomings that detracted from our stay. Missing in action were aluminum foil, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and matches (for the outdoor grille). The internet signal is very weak and fickle. The wine opener doesn't work. So we had to buy all of that stuff. The Keurig machine works some of the time, but not all of the time. The kitchen knives are very dull. The kids high chair was filthy with crusted food. Two other summer shortcomings of concern were the lack of screens on the separate bedroom windows and when it got warm in there (no air conditioning) we could not open the windows to get a draft because without the screens there is too much risk of critters getting in. The other big issue was the outdoor grille (which also needs serious cleaning) because the knobs are not insulated and they get burn-your-skin-hot when grilling-we learned that the hard way. The kitchen stove is nice, but it needs a good cleaning--pretty greasy. Having said all of that (which are pretty easy fixes) the property serves its purpose and we would certainly consider visiting it again.

We had a great time. Enjoyed the cabin, it looked exactly like the pictures. The location was nice. Derek was easy to get ahold of for any questions we had. Will definitely rent the cabin again.

Spacious but Comfy!

This property was beautiful, lots of amenities. There was something for everyone. The garage bunkhouse had table games and basket ball, we spent lots of time around the firepit and in the Jacuzzi. There was plenty of room for everyone and the owners went the extra mile to prioritize comfort, with throws and pillows that were soft. The kitchen was also amazing to cook in with an island and bar stools so you could still be apart of the conversations while cooking. The house itself was beautifully decorated and up to date but still gave you that woodsy feel. Over all this was an amazing cabin and we will be back for sure.

From the moment you step inside, your mood immediately becomes calm and happy. I’ve stayed in dozens of VRBOs and this tops them all. I normally bring a tote of kitchen tools, appliances, and my favorite knives. I didn’t need to! Everything I have at home was provided here. It is a completely stocked kitchen! Utensils, spices, large fridge/freezer and gorgeous gas range. The outdoor experience is what truly made this trip! Gorgeous outdoor gas fire pit, grill, and jacuzzi. All of the little cousins enjoyed the game room with air hockey and basketball. The rooms were gorgeously decorated and Derek provided a closet full of extra linens and towels which was the cherry on top. He was incredibly fast at replying and was always to helpful. This was our last getaway before the kids started back to school and we are looking forward to staying here again for ski season. Thank you Derek for a wonderful stay!

Book it Now!

This place has it all! For starters, it is stunningly beautiful. But beyond that, the beds and furniture are extremely comfortable, the kitchen a dream, and there are so many extras! We went up with our adult kids, their spouses and two grandkids. There was something for everyone! Our family loved the game room, and had a very intense ping pong tournament. Every night we hung out by the backyard fire pit, with some of us in the hot tub. It’s a perfect place to make family memories. Some more of the things we liked: each bedroom had a bathroom—very nice when traveling with adult couples; the front room has large windows, that when opened, feels like you are outside—very nice during a thunder storm; my son worked remotely while up there, and the wifi was great; the forest preserve is right down the road for a nice hike. I could go on and on….. The only con was the phone reception. While the wifi worked great indoors, our phones didn’t work unless we stepped outside. Finally, Derek was very responsive, and answered all my questions immediately. I can’t wait to return next summer.
