In winter, you can enjoy skiing and hiking through the white landscape, and summers are great for golfing, swimming or cycling. Particularly beautiful is the Tauern Cycle Route, which runs from Saalfelden to Krimml. From Walchen, you can easily walk to Piesendorf, where you will also find an ice cream parlour, a cheese kiosk and a liquor shop. The adventure mountain is great for children and for refreshment you can visit the nearby natural swimming pools
